South Korea has a weird or interesting - depending on your interpretation - culture surrounding Valentine's Day.

On February 14th, women give gifts to men.

A month later, on March 14th, men reciprocate, typically with a gift of (white) chocolate. Hence, it's called White Day.

Now, what happens if you don’t have a partner to give gifts to, and to give gifts to you?

South Korea still has you covered.

Enter “Black Day,” observed — to use the term loosely — on April 14th.

It is a day of mourning — LOL — for those who have not given or received a present on White or Valentine’s Day.

Single people, typically in their 20s and 30s, wear black outfits and gather at restaurants. There, they dine on something called “jajangmyeon”, a cheap noodle dish, with pork, seafood, and vegetables, all coated in a black bean sauce.

It's not always all bad though as there have been many instances where on Black Day, mourners have found love among themselves.

Chai..

Apart from the RAw beheading culture in Asia,,

They behave as if life is too easy.

Most of what seem appealing to them over there are outrightly useless here in difficult Nigeria.

Imagine that you're mourning because you couldn't exchange gift!!?

Real Nigerians are not really emotional..

Mine own way of celebrating valentine is spending the night at a grave yard with my sweet lilith watching horror movie and drinking chilled zobo
