The man who built Dubai,China,Indonesia, London and finally Lagos is finding it difficult to build Nigeria grin.

It's not his fault, building materials is now very expensive,so it's quite difficult to build anything these days.

After all the shouting, "subsidy is gone, subsidy is gone", now look at the story we are hearing.

Nigeria can't do otherwise given the clueless governments she had over the years

Nigeria is a developing country, without any technological break through, so she must depend on foreign support for survival

Successive government lacks foresight to retuned the economy

This government lacks basic economics 101 or dey are confused.

If subsidy has been removed petrol prices shouldn't be static bt fluctuate up and down based on market forces..

As it stands fuel price should be close to 1000 naira per litre.

Tinubu himself is clueless and thoughtless!
I got to know how reckless he is when he said '' subsidy is gone'' on the day he was being inaugurated and sworn in as president, when he had not occupied the office to even scrutinize and examine any records to fashion out how to proceed.
On what basis was the subsidy removed? What was/is the main cause of the so-called ''subsidy''?
The answer is: the exchange rate!
So how do you then increase the price of petrol and say you have removed subsidy for ever, but you go back and devalue the naira by adopting a floating exchange rate?
It shows his government is clueless and only implementing trial and error policies!

I don't really blame Tinubu to an extent, but largely blame him for the hasty removal of subsidy and float the naira at the same time without plans.

The problem with our politicians is that, they just act, without considering the short term, mid term and long term effects of their actions.

We refused to be tricked again

Nigerians are not against subsidy but what are the gains so far with the subsidy removal.

We are too aware that it's only those in government that subsidy benefits. They have everything to gain and nothing to lose

How have our lives become better since they increased fuel from 97 to 670

They said they have saved money. Where is the money. What has the money achieved and how has it made our lives better

If I cannot see anything they have achieved, pls let the subsidy continue because any attempt to increased fuel price.....uhm.!!!!

I rest my case

Petrol is cheaper in Nigeria than in neighbouring countries even if it is sold for 1200 naira.
When you quote the price of PMS in those countries, don't fail to also compare the purchasing power of their currencies, minimum wage and other amenities!
