Most times the prices we see online & even hear on the Radio, is often not a true reflection of what it's truly on ground when you visit the Market.

That's how they kept shouting that a bag of rice was over 70k about 3 weeks ago.,only to go to the Market a week ago to see that's 63k.

Nevertheless the inflation is biting hard!!!

Those shouting Peter Obi up and down as if he has magic wand what would Obi had done differently? Peter Obi that failed in Anambra is who they are comparing with a man that set the template for modern Lagos. Even if the price of cement is 50k, we will continue to pray for and support the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu

You are right. Prices vary depending on the location. But if things continue the way they are, it will get there and even surpass it.

You can't remove subsidy from everything and not expect hardship. If it were other candidates, we would experience same hardship. Unless, subsidy is re-introduce in the system. Nigeria is not ready for this reformation.

Where's the money to pay subsidy? Haven't you heard crude oil has been mortgaged?

Exactly!
I think if the president care little about his image at all, they should reverse fuel to below N200. I think that to a large extent will put a halt to this uncontrollable inflation. It was a serious miscalculation announcing from inauguration ground subsidy is gone, without even getting to office to study things.

When Buhari took over, he was constantly inviting Goodluck to villa probably to study things. Tinubu misfired seriously.

the question you should be asking is why. What has changed between October and now? In October, Dollar 1350 and diesel was 1200 yet I bought cement 4800. What has changed now? Why are these billionaires hiking prices of cement but you people can't even think, the only thing in Nigerians' head is PDP, APC. These billionaires will continue to fleece us because we don't have sense

So who is in the position to correct the anomaly? The ordinary citizen or the government (PDP, APC)?

I want you all to just take a moment and imagine Peter Obi was the one on seat and these horrible things are happening. I want you all to take a holistic imagination how chaotic the whole country would have been and which part of the country would have been at the fore front leading these Chaos.

This is why Nigeria will never work. Sentiments based on several interests.

peter obi would have snuff all stolen money out to balance economy, organized crime called APC are protecting themselves therefore we're in chaos.

Nigeria is not a socialist country, government don't control production and distribution of goods and services. It seems you have not even got to senior secondary school. Government cannot decide how much private companies sell their products. It's Nigerians who should ask sellers why they hiked prices and walk away. When nobody is buying the cement, Dangote and his fellow greedy billionaires will drop the price back to normal but Nigerians would rather blame the government who don't even have the power to do anything
