This is one of the reasons I don't pity the south east when they shout marginalization. They are not patriotic at all. Every region in nigeria is protesting the unbearable cost of living but they will rather sit down and look. If the protests works and the prices of goods and services come down they will buy cheaper goods from the market and reap where they did not sow. If Igbos join it will be tagged IPOB and the Fulani dominated Army will be unleashed as we saw under Buhari. Do you remember how Igbos were mocked and Buhari cheered here with these humiliating and dehumanising pictures for peacefully protesting against injustice and marginalisation.

Not forgetting the killing by the Army of 'General' Ikonso (pictured below) young man who put his life on the line to protect Igbo communities from rampaging Fulani militia based on the warning by Nnamdi Kanu long before other Nigerians realised what was coming ahead now called 'bandits' which has led to the current food crisis as farming communities are no longer able to feed themselves as farmers are killed or kidnapped or asked to pay tax and ransom before planting and harvesting in several states.

Igbos have sacrificed enough for Nigeria, they are always the first targets of riots in the North with their shops either burnt or looted and never compensated by the Govt if they survive with their lives.

Please lets leave Igbos out of this, allow them to breathe
Always trying to claim to be the victim. Who claimed Buhari was dead and was replaced by a Sudanese?

[Any Igbo man that join any protest against hardship in Nigeria will die in the process, the Igbos are living fine, we can never beg for food and Tinubu will still be there for 8 years, on his mandate we shall continue to stand ]

I just beg those who can make it happen for SE to go their way. They are not feeling this Naija at all. They protest when others are quiet, stay unperturbed when others are protesting.

Refuse voting when it's time to vote... Association is not by force.

The 6 geopolitical zones in the country can go their separate ways like USSR. Like UK left EU.

Ni biggie

Unfortunately Azikiwe was the opposer when Awolowo wanted to put in the clause for the event each region may want to go their ways in the future. undecided

Well said. Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba have always ganged up against the Igbo. We should not allow ourselves to be used by any of those groups. Right now, the Fulani elites are not happy that they are out of power. They are cunningly looking for partners to help them clinch power through the back door (military). We should not fall for their game. How come they did not protest throughout Buhari's 8 years of disaster.
Yorubas be wise. Don't be deceived. No protest.

When have they protested before on national issues since the beginning of this nation? None, it is only the Yorubas and the Hausas that have been doing that.

We all know they have different agendas against the nation, so no one is expecting them to do so.

Also they are used to hardship, and we that are not used to hardship will continue to protest until the government do something about the situation.
Yes. Do the protesting on our behalf. I will donate 20 bags of pure water through one of the mods @Fergie001 to you protesters. More grease to you guys elbow with the protest until Tinubu brings down the cost of commodity at the market.

It is only a foolish, igbo man that will join this protest. It's a shame, smart yoruba men, were dragged into this devilish tribal sh*t, how do you win an election through fraud, and you expect everything to be fine. It's not even up to a year. A dollar is now 1700.

Like are you not mad, ask yourself if you are not stupid, for voting this old man, who said, if na statistics we go chop.

Tinubu licked the ass, of these fulani's just to be president, even buhari didn't support his government. It was obvious there was a rift, in Apc. Between Buhari camp and tinubu camp.

I feel for what will be left off in Nigeria, by the second year. Of tinubu government.

You all will so suffer. The hunger hasn't started yet
We warned you guys before the election that Tinubu has no manifesto or plans for Nigeria that all that's he was after is to become the President which he confidently described as his age long ambition.

That is far better Ipob should not use Protests as an excuse to burn down Lagos or destroy property of other Ethnic Groups like it during Endsars

Everyone should protest for their own Region to be better and not use it as excuse to attack or release Prisoners from jail in other Regions
or attack other Regions Leaders
Yes you are right. No protest is needed in SouthEast/SouthSouth. I included SouthSouth because Igbos account for more than 30% population of the entire SouthSouth region. Protest in your region let's see what the outcome will be.

See politics!
If anyone can read in-between the lines, he will discover that this corruption is working for some people and they will never encourage anyone to mess up their chances with one nonsense protest.

Using Nnamdi Kanu as the reason for non participating in a national protest is against every reasonable logic. No one is supporting a violent protest but using Nnamdi Kanu's continuous detention as the basis to form economic committee for APC government is a sabotage against every Igbo people home and abroad.

I hope Ndi Igbo can define their stand and know where to pitch their tent is this time of tribulations.

Why would Ohaneze Ndi Igbo would choose to abandon Nnamdi Kanu to his chains and working hand in hand with their oppressors
Protest in SouthEast usually turn bloody because security agents can easily turn it as protest for IPOB/Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
