It’s such a shame that approval of the payment of utilities bills is part of the job of the president of Nigeria. The president should firing whosoever is responsible for paying utility bills which has a budget allocation and not reapproving what has been approved.

It's setting bad precedent for government institution to owe such debt.

Military barracks are some of the biggest debtors in terms of electricity bills in the country. Tinubu should clear up everything not only that for his own comfort.

Don't know of now but when I served at Onitsha artillery barracks 2016. They army pay timely per month then 1.5/1.7M . I was a corper then and the Engineering unit was in charge .

Aedc deserve a special award for exposing them all.

The state house could have put an independent power plant in place to make them stay off dependency on AEDC.

All the money to be spent for the next 20 years would have been reduced to the minimal.

Well done presido, but not only state house, it should be all Government institutions. It is now clear that Governments not paying their electricity bills is why we are in this electricity mess in Nigeria.
