One of the beneficiary of Nigeria woes has spoken.

Am waiting for the day, Nigeria Government will do away with dollar and pounds.
Majority of imported products comes from China.

USA is not responsible for your corrupt leaders.

If you don't want dollars, then you need to go back to stone age.
China has trillions of dollars in its foreign reserve.

If adequate security is provided for the farmers, food issues will be gone within a short period Then he should look into fuel issue. Also, power. Many manufacturing companies are almost closing down because of power problems

Tinubu, for the sake of the country stop listening to anything that comes out of the US government as advice. Look at where we are because you followed their advice to collapse the multiple exchange rate into Import and Export window, and remove fuel subsidy. Now, you are thinking of removing electricity subsidy as if the pain you have caused is not enough.

Brilliant suggestion. Agriculture is the best place government can invest in If only corruption and insecurity will allow government investment in agriculture to thrive.

Even if Tinubu Chicago results dey your hands before the election, how would it change or make him not to win? Have you forgotten that politics is about interest? Now that you have it, how would it stop him in 2027.

Each state should create Mega farms, and NYSC members should be drafted to various state farm for the duration of service.

Call it operation feed the nation drive.

If Southern States can produce cassava, kola, rubber, banana, pineapple etc.

Eastern state produce yam, rice

South West: Cocoa, Rice etc.

Northern States: Rice, Yam, Fruits, tomatoes, pepper, etc. (Ranches and Poultry produce inclusive)

While reading, you can add to the list. With state farms, we will have enough to consume and export.

Let's diversity from oil as only source of export.

Greene, who spoke on Wednesday at Ipao Ekiti, in Ikole Council area of Ekiti State during a visit by the US Embassy to the 15,000 hectares Agbeyewa Farms, a private initiative of Cavista Holdings, urged Nigeria to harness its abundant arable lands, fertile soil and favourable weather endowments to provide food for the citizenry and as well export.

He urged federal and state governments to take a cue from Agbeyewa Farms which had greatly tapped into the economic potentials of large-scale agriculture, saying, “We are aware of the food security challenge and the post-harvest losses in Nigeria. With Investments and leadership like this, I think the lives of a lot of Nigerians can be changed for the better.

This farm will be harder to be overrun by herders and Fulani terrorists. This is the way forward for Nigerian agriculture. Large farms that are publicly quoted on NSE will open door for people who recognize the need to invest in agriculture but too scared to go into it because of a failed system.

Do we really have food shortage in the country? I think the issue is rising cost of food items not shortage.

But there is no security for farmers to go to their farms.

So, 20 or 30 years ago when there wasn't any herdsmen problems what was the reason for not doing it?
The 18 billion dollars handed over to the Paris Club by Obasanjo if invested in Agriculture would have changed Nigeria for ever.
Today we are in more debt than 1999.

I was thinking his administration would use the subsidy money to encourage agricultural production. But they have been silent about the use of the money.

30 years Nigeria has better export proceeds.
The truth is that Nigeria was better, and presently bad and is tilting towards getting worse in the future looking at the trends.
