State governors just have to do more...!

They have been flying under the radar and given an unhealthy pass for too long.

Citizens should begin to massively call out all underperforming governors, especially in this current welfare crisis across the nation.

I learnt from reliable sources that most states have had increased monthly allocations since subsidy removal...!

What are they doing with all the billions in allocation?!! What are they doing to help mitigate the harsh effects of the necessary national economic reforms?!!

It is just recently some began to wake up because they are being called out by top politicians.

Governors should be joining hands to ensure Mr. President succeeds by helping their citizens survive the inevitable process, rather than stealing and pocketing allocations while keeping mute as their citizens abuse Tinubu.

STRONG ASSURANCE FROM THIS GOVERNMENT

Just yesterday, I have been at Abuja on the invitation of the President and some members of his team. It was resolved that ;

- with hope and strong resolve by the government and the people things will surely change *if only our people will be a bit patient with the government*
- the CBN Governor Mr Yemi Cardoso declared that with all that have been put into place dollar will surely crash naturally if only the black marketers are put in check.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN OGUN STATE

We are not only Gateway state by mouth, we have the best intelligent, resourceful and articulate brains in the country , therefore as your duely elected Governor we met with some stakeholders and came out with these just last week:

- All students in higher institutions across the country who are from Ogun State will be given fifty thousand naira each to cushion the effect of their increased tution fee

- all the primary and secondary school students in the state will be given ten thousand naira each

- all our primary and secondary school students will enjoy at least five exercise books

- all our elderly men and women to enjoy FREE HEALTH CARE from all our health institutions across the state

- all pregnant women to enjoy free health care and to be given five thousand naira after delivery

- having realized that the past governments and this present administration are owing Ogun State workers over #6billion of unpaid deductions we have therefore resolved that starting from this month of February, we shall be paying #500million to offset this deduction owed our civil servants

- our government have been paying ten thousand naira to cushion the effect of transportation cost of our civil servants in the last 8 months, this government will continue with this

- From tomorrow Thursday, 100 trailer loads of rice will arrive the state some of which will be given freely to the aged while the rest will be sold at a controlled price of how much a bag of rice was been sold before the soaring prices of food item started

- we are launching electric okada and tricycles to reduce transport fare by 30-40%

MY PLEA TO YOU AS MY PEOPLE

Let us be tolerant and patient with this government. Let us not join any group of those who are hellbent at destroying this administration. We can't pretend as a government that all is well, we are aware of the hardship but we should not be an agent of sabotage to thwart and tarnish this administration's image and effort .

Between 2010 and 2014, there was a Nigerian President who came to power by an act of God, there was a sign of hope, I saw Nigeria flourishing as represented by its green colours, I saw a future in Nigeria but then he had some saboteurs who where committing all forms of financial atrocities in his government yet 99% of Nigerians were happier and food was very much affordable but some devil's incarnates who together with their fraudulent so called men of God decided it was time to take him out so that they can have the free will to plunge Nigeria into its present hardship, so many of you here supported that movement. Exchange rate was about 160 something nara likewise the price of fuel was about 95 naira yet so many of you were used to achieve that evil agenda. Today, so many of you that supported the agenda are no more, some can't feed their families, some, their salaries can no longer afford the minor food stuffs in the market, some, their children no longer go to school. Those So called men of God can no longer protest or occupy Nigeria, they have now gone blind, deaf and dumb yet still defrauding some gullible Nigerians with unbiblical prayers. Today, Nigeria has a reason for those things they protested against few years ago but nobody cares anymore and the so called influencers and men of God are now too weak to speak out rather everyone is talking about being patient, same patient they never gave that man all in the name of tribe and religion. I weep for Nigeria. This is the most difficult time being a Nigerian. cry cry cry cry cry

Do not reduce us to beggars waiting on Govt palliatives to survive.

When we talk, they say why are we complaining more than the APC supporters, but ask yourself.

With all the measures by both federal and state government on cautioning the hardship.

1. Are we at a sort of war?
2. Is there natural disaster all over the country.
3. Is there an outbreak of disease that made Nigeria go under lockdown?

Why all this palliative here and there, why the hunger, why the extreme poverty all of a sudden. When APC supporters can really answer this, then they will see the magnitude of mistake they made in 2023 and demand accountability from the people they voted for.
