Besides,the project started during the time of GEJ and was commissioned by him!
If there was anyone to lay claim to such project,it should be GEJ,Otti,Barth nnaji and Ngozi okonjo iweala!
As it concerns why during Obi didn't setup a generating plant in his 8 years as governor....why would a governor take up such expensive project when there was a law then where by a state can only build a generating plant but cannot transmit or distribute that same electricity to his state....it must pass through the national grid before it gets to your state!
Thats like cooking your own food with your own money for your family but a law says you must first give it to an outsider to determine how much share you will get!

It made no sense then to setup a power station...but with the signing of the decentralization of electricity bill into law, every state can generate,transmit and distribute electricity to their domain!
