this is a politically motivated report. Why didn't you add the minimum wages of these countries along their PMS price. 1 Like |

Bros, sometimes we shouldn't engage in some argument, because we only makes matters worse when you do. In an attempt to prove a point we give ourselves out. Now these countries you mentioned US, Canada, and Kazakhstan. Please Google will help you, just find out their average earning per day. Canada is the lowest with average of about 20cad per hour, yet their fuel price is 2cad max. The other 2 countries earn higher Kazakhstan own even reach $50 per day. Nigerian minimum wage is around #33,000 per month, that's about #1000 per day, you can obviously see that we buy 1ltr of diesel much higher than we earn in a day and fuel just a little less than our daily earning. This is absolute trash. The more your currency depreciates in value, the cheaper things seem to be , when compared with other countries. The only reasonable comparison, would be with those having the same exchange rates or if Nigerians are earning dollars and not Naira, in Nigeria. Common sense question:When Naira jumped to about 1, 500 to the dollar, did your Naira income, jump by the same ratio? 3 Likes |

We should not be comparing just prices. Our Nigerian naira is just a worthless currency at the moment and among the worst-performing currencies in Africa. It shouldn't be compared at all. Most of those listed countries have better performing economy than ours so there should be no comparison please. Let us also compare their electricity supply and see we don't measure up. Ordinary Benin republic here has 24hrs supply yet I have not seen light in my area for almost 4days now. All these APC e-rats would just gather themselves together to make stupid and baffling comparisons. Nigeria is failing miserably when it comes to everything good in Africa. Step out of Nigeria and you will weep for what our leaders have done to us. 1 Like |

Some of you are not thinking well. It's like you don't know that out naira has fallen so bad that glorify the currencies of other countries. So you are trying to justify why Nigerians should suffer for bad govt. Something is wrong with you. Imagine if naira was 400 to the dollar. Now you floated the naira devalue and destroyed it and now justifying why we should suffer 1 Like |

It was FG thst started this dollarization of commodity prices and then floated Naira . Now everyone fix price of goods based on exchange rate but Naira is undervalued. The real value of Naira is around 750 to a Dollar |
