Anambra deserves to be a member of NDDC but Senator Tony Nwoye is going about it the wrong way. These things require diplomacy and cool head not by agbero or cultist behaviour. There are important people that Senator Nwoye is at loggerheads with like the Senate President and the Anambra state governor Chukwuma Soludo who now has the ears of President Tinubu as his economic advisor, these are people Nwoye should be collaborating with to help this bill sail through rather than trying to force it through by his own power, which it is obvious, he has none. But it is a good sign that Senator Adams Oshiomhole is in support of the bill. The bill could be reintroduced later but Senator Victor Umeh should talk to his colleague Nwoye to stop displaying toutish behaviour in the Senate chambers in order not to deny Anambra some good scores.

Everything must be gotten by force according to their faulty upbringing. He was given the option to step down the bill now, and introduce it later after consultation, but the useless drug trafficker hiding under politics will never learn

I agree with your postulations bro!
For you need more relationship building in a Nigeria 'these days' than lone ranger approach and I want Anambra in !
God bless Nigeria!

Just initial gra gra

With time, Anambra will be included

Anambra is more located around Niger Delta geographically than Edo and Ondo state.

Even Rivers and Anambra shares boundry via River Niger route. Ndoni in Rivers and Ogbaru in Anambra are the same people divide by

Niger Delta is more about the geology than geography.

I thought there's a bill on South East Development Commission.

Focus on that one and stop creating confusion.

Cross River has lost their oil wells but they're still Niger Delta.

It's about a geographic zone and not necessarily oil.
Based on geographical location Cross River and Akwa Ibom is not within Niger Delta region, Anambra is more located with in Niger Delta region than this two states.

What's the geology of Edo and Ondo? Is it related to Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta?

Ok.
Unless they're coming from that angle.

Why force inclusion in NDDC? Sebi the Senator sponsoring the bill confirmed that Anambra is already receiving 13% oil revenue derivations, which, I think, is why he is sponsoring the bill?

I feel there’s no need including any state that is already receiving this 13% again, except IF THERE ARE OTHER THINGS THEY BENEFIT BY JOINING NDDC which we don’t know o.

The inclusion of Ondo especially, Imo and Abia into the NDDC was done out of mischief and I knew this problem would come up one day cool

what does that have to do with the brilliant bill he sponsored ?

Rename it to Oil Producing States Commission or something similar, if you want to include all states that are receiving from monthly 13% derivation.

You people should stop arguing unnecessarily just because you want to feel hated.

Geologically, Nigeria is covered by about 8 sedimentary basins that includes Benue (central), Sokoto (north-west border), Chad (north-east), Bida (central, along the Niger valley), Dahomey (south- west) and Anambra (south-east) Basins and the Niger delta (south coastal). Each basin has its own peculiar geological characteristics that has been studied over several decades.

Yes Edo and part of Ondo lies within the Niger Delta basin which is bounded from the Dahomey Basin ( which extends to somewhere around Volta in Ghana) by the Benin hinge line to the west and Anambra basin to the North. Anambra is in Anambra Basin and not the Niger Delta Basin.
