No one said statistics are not important, what everyone was tired of was the lamba data that lamba king was throwing around. What is the relevance of things like : "If you divide the number of yams in China and add it to the goats in Japan, you will have consumption to production"...

So, that was why Tinubu referred to Obi as that one that is throwing fake numbers around like say na statistics we wan chop. That was the context that statement was made. A first-class accountant will of course know the importance of statistics that a philosophy graduate who may not be able to interpret data presented in front of him
