You can stop crypto/naira pairs on Binance, but you can never stop Nigerians from crypto trading.

There are always many many many ways to kill a rat.

cheesy cheesy

The moment greedy Nigerians started operating p2p on bnance, problem started

But I still don't think binanc is the issue....

Our politicians, banks are hoarding dollars.. They are the cause of this and it is not being addressed

Nah, it's surely binance fault, didn't U hear what the govt said, 26 billion dollars(USDT) passed through 9ja binance in just a single year grin...they even forgot say, d entire market capitalisation for USDT na about 90 something billion dollars for d entire world!!

On a serious note, who would even go through binance or p2p if dollar is readily available grin grin...our govt still doesn't want to face d elephant in d room. They would most likely still find something insignificant to blame when this fails as we

It can but do we have a sensible leader or CBN governor that can ensure that ?!

After Binanxe as been exposed as the manipulator with Naira losing over ₦100 daily why as the govt not force it to manipulate back to what it was before it started the manipulation or simple jail every soul attach to Binance in Nigeria to life imprisonment.

Did they not see what the USA senate did to same Binance over there in America where it came from ? Should Nigeria not be more harsh n even more desperate n wicked to punish the bastards running the firms.

CBN is chasing rats while the house is burning grin . The CBN chairman is as corrupt as Emefiele else he would have jailed the bank MDs because they are the root cause of all this. Trading crypto is just like trading other assets like Gold, crude oil and even comondities like food items. If going by this let CBN arrest all the market men and women.
Banks buy USD at an official rate then sell to BDC, while would Nigerians not able to buy FX in the banking hall despite the Billions of USD the CBN claim to sell to them undecided
And as for the speculators the CBN & the FG played into their hands by floating the Naira when the excess money in the circulation has not been cleared and when the BDC have not been regulated. This CBN governor if not properly checked will be the worst thing that might happen to Nigeria economy angry

This is not good.

Nigerian government doesn't know that crypto has been used to bypass foreign exchange scarcity.

All those crypto you see are not being bought with Dollars in Nigeria. It's not hard to tell because, our ATM card doesn't work for foreign transactions.

People basically earn crypto and trade it for Naira. So if you disable crypto in Nigeria EVERYBODY will be looking for dollar. Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, the governor of Abia state has shown us through his projects in abia state that president is not really the problem of Nigeria but the state governors and other branch of the government are the problem... I kept wondering where abia state governor is bringing all the money he is using to build projects in abia state but, other governors left there without anything to show... They kept saying abia state don't have money.

Well said

Last time it was abokifx now it's binance, after floating the naira to "let the market decide" "the government is now attacking markets like the floating never happened. undecided

If they like let them block the whole internet as long as more people want to leave there will always be demand for foriegn currency over the naira.

This government deserve to be giving a proper support.
It totally shows they know what they're doing.
If its another government, they will ban Nigerians from Binance entirely but they show that they are actually after fixing the loopholes.
Either you support the government or not, we know the president that would have force Binance to close all accounts of Nigerians on binance or completely bare the network.
You are talking rubbish, this government don't know what they are doing, the are diverting attention from the main problem which are ;
1.cutting down the cost of governance.
2. bold enough to eradicating ridiculous purchase of immaterial vehicle by the house of assembly using tax payers money.
3.overcome the country's challenges in security by arresting all the political actors involved.
4.EXECUTE kidnappers at a spot if culpable in the crime.
5 fixed power by investing 40% and 20% in education of the money saved from cutting cost of running government.

See if all the politicians are not paid for 10 years they will survive with the money they had looted.

Bro you need to wake up and stop supporting all this good for nothing politicians that are impoverishing the poor through looting and re-looting of public fund.

Before the clampdown on Binanace you forget Naira was losing over ₦100 daily to the dollar ?! Why ain't you questioning why that stopped ?!

The govt should not stop at chasing out economic saboteurs like Binance but ensure Binance return the Naira to where Binance devalued it from during Emefiele tenure. That is when I will accept this Tinubu govt meant well for Nigeria till then Tinubu 8 months in office as been nothing but rubbish even to those of us supporting him.

mumu..... you are a dummy, didn't you hear that about $300m was given to banks to sell to bdc, that brought relief in dollars skyrocketing and not binnance,in your dream with the thieves you have as leaders dollar will trade below #1k again?u are joking.

Use kucoin. P2P is not a crime, it should not be illegal under any jurisdiction except you say crypto is, which according to nigeria that ban was lifted by Tinubu when he came in. How can you lift ban but still go ahead to say binance is the problem? Does not make sense.

All this one you type will not do shit to the economy..

Even if all politicians stop collecting salary...the economy will continue to nosedive..

Fix electricity and all the problems attached.

Reduce your imports by half (this can be done by banning petroleum products import meaning they need to bring back our refineries)

Increase oil production to atleast 3million B/d to sustain local refineries and maintain export rates..

State government should donates 30% to massive agriculture.

Bring back ajaokuta

The government cannot force Binance to close Nigerians accounts, Binance is not a Nigerian Bank, and they are not bound by any law in Nigeria. They owe obligations to their clients. Binance also has a strong legal team, they have won cases in the past.

Binance and BDC no longer determine the rates with the recent policy guidelines.CBN determines the rate. They should come and explain how dollar is still opening at 1400 and closing at 1600.The are the ones selling now at that rate
