Nigeria's critical role in ensuring stability in the sub-region was also acknowledged, with calls for increased support from Russia to address security challenges.

Arrived in Moscow for bilateral meetings @mfa_russia focused on enhancing Nigeria's economic and security ties with Russia.

Firstly, I met with the management of Russian Public International Aluminum Company, UC RUSAL to discuss potential investments in bolstering Nigeria's aluminum industry.

I also met with the management of Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation, alongside DGNIA, Ambassador Ahmed Rufai, and Chairman of Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission, Professor Ahmed Yusuf, where we explored deeper cooperation on peaceful nuclear energy use, including power supply, medicine and research.
