How Senator Godswill Akpabio Misunderstood Gov Fubara's Simple message

Dear Sen. Godswill Akpabio, Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Fraternal greetings your Excellency Sir,

I would like to address the recent exchange between yourself and Governor Siminalayi Fubara at late Herbert Wigwe's funeral, specifically regarding the interpretation of Governor Fubara's message and the context in which it was delivered.

It is important to note first and foremost that a funeral service may not always be the most suitable platform for engaging in political discussions or making gestures that could be misconstrued. Governor Fubara's remarks about the struggle and the nature of political ambitions were likely intended to convey a broader message about life's challenges and the importance of reflecting on our actions and motivations.

In recounting the incident from 2006 involving your desire to become a deputy governor, with reference to your conversation with the then deputy governor of Akwa Ibom state; Sen. Chris Ekpeyong was totally uncalledfor. Some of us still recalled what transpired then and how the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly impeached the Dep Gov and within seven days, reversed itself. Well that's a story for another day.

Gov Sim Fubara's message may have been aimed at highlighting the inherent challenges and sacrifices involved in political endeavors, as well as the need for introspection and humility in the pursuit of power.

Therefore, it appears that there may have been a misunderstanding in the interpretation of Governor Fubara's words. His advice to "not struggle" may have been a metaphorical reflection on the transient nature of power and material wealth, urging individuals like yourself to approach political ambitions with a sense of perspective and moderation.

Warm regards,
your Excellency SP Sir.

Sen. Charles Port Harcourt

AKPABIO DID NOT MISUNDERSTAND THE MESSAGE.
AKPABIO DELIVERED THE MESSAGE OF THE POWERS THAT BE.
AKPABIO TOLD SIM TO QUIT IF HE DOESNT THINK ITS (GOVERNORSHIP) WORTH FIGHTING FOR.
SIM HAS SNATCHED THE MEAT FROM THE LIONS (WIKE) MOUTH.
SIM SHOULD COME TO THE REALIZATION HE CANNOT HAVE PEACE DURING ALL OF HIS TENURE.
THERE IS NO "STRONG" POLITICIAN IN NIGERIA, THAT HAS NOT FOUGHT SUPERIOR FORCES.
SIM CAN NEVER SLEEP WITH HIS TWO EYES CLOSED.

THATS THE PRICE TO PAY.

SIMs message was misunderstood.
Why are we struggling fighting and pursuing each other?
When the day of reckoning that all will surely die.
VANITY .
That was the SIMPLE MESSAGE.

It's a memorial service, Sim should have just been straightforward with his words. No need for innuendos... That he was misunderstood is his problem!

The question should rather be, why should Akpabio took Sim Fubara's message so personal
Was Akpabio the only politician present at the burial event
Was Sim Fubara message directed at Akpabio (no thanks to Akpabio's uncordinated speech)
Sim passed a simply & apt message.

Being philosophical at a funeral has always been the norm.

Akpabio was just a silly little boy who wants to continue to kiss Wike's ass.
