Can a Child of God who is born again still be under a curse?

A born again Christian who was cursed before may still be under a curse if he or she has not applied the blood of Jesus Christ in breaking such a curse.

Again, such person may still be under a curse if he or she has not restituted, apologized or confessed to the offended.

Example: if a born again Christian was formerly a thief in the neighbourhood, and had stolen from people to the point that they cried bitterly and issued curses on him or her, such curses may not break until the born again Christian does restitution to those he stole from before.
He's free from every curse when he's born again but he might still experience some punishment or consequences for his action just like the thief crucified beside Jesus

Those curse no dey work anyway

Christians will claim to find peace in serving Jesus and their god, but yet they're one of the most troubled people on earth. Even Muslims are not as troubled as they are. You can't tell me you've found peace but yet attend night vigil every Friday midnight, go to church and shout "die by fire" for several hours, cast and bind before you sleep at night and when you wake up in the morning. Pay offering, tithe, first salary of the year e.t.c...All these just to live a normal life that many people who aren't even Christians are already living. It's well. cheesy

On the surface... Let's not forget it's a title or label But Christ can't be your lord and saviour and yet you be under a curse. Impossible!

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:
Unless you don’t believe what ur Bible told u. Being born again is about faith. True Christian walk is about faith.

This is not true! You need to read your bible and not repeat what people say in churches. The bible is what you should quote!!!!!!

I think it's important to remember that God is the ultimate judge and forgiver of sins. While repentance and restitution are important steps towards breaking a curse, only God can ultimately forgive and remove a curse from someone.

I would encourage the person in your example to seek God's forgiveness and guidance, and to do what is right to make amends for their past actions.

In your example, if the person made restitution by apologizing and making amends to those he harmed in the past, it could potentially break the curse and free them from its effects.

I also think it's important for him to remember that even if he is under a curse, God's love and grace is still available to him.

Personal opinion without scriptural backing is called false teaching and such teacher is under God's curse.

Yes and No, depending on the scenerio. There are different kind of curses. E.g generational curses, ancestoral curses etc. Some are even found the Bible.

Every curse no matter the form was overturned at Calvary. Demonic teachings that diminish the work of Calvary and promote the roaring sound of the devil make many believe in the devil than the cross.

And what you believe is what you get.

Curses come sometimes from ancestral lines, you getting involved with wrong things or wrong people, like having unmarried sex

That’s why the Bible talks about do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. A curse is like a yoke around your spiritual neck that restrains you from progressing

So you have to break every yoke by the blood and name of the lamb and don’t partake in things that eodices curses (disrespecting your parents or not taking care of them, casual sex, worshipping idols, giving up yourself to strange spirits, getting high and opening your minds portal to evil spirits, abortions etc)

Proverbs 26:2
Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest

A Christian doesn't operate from the stand point of the law (the old testament). You can't be a president and your village head will be disturbing your life.

A Christian is one who was dead and alive in Christ and is seated in heavenly places with Christ

All Christians too are cursed!

Paul says in Galatians 3:13
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”

He was quoting Deuteronomy 21:23:
You must not leave the body on the tree overnight, but you must be sure to bury him that day, because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God's curse. You must not defile the land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.

Then what happened after he came out of the tomb

Curse is Real. Some curses are inherited. Irrespective of your Christianity, if not broken, the believer would suffer the consequence.

Very well. Ignorance is very dangerous in spiritual transaction. If the person is ignorant and not ready to work(prayer work) the curse will remain permanent and the only hope he has is making heaven.

1 Corinthians 1:18-20
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

This is the greatest truth and the most common reason for which many so-called born again Christians' prayers for miraculous deliverance from spiritual affliction are not answered by God.
If anything, Jesus made it clear that whoever approaches the altar of God without having gone to make peace with those he offended will not be welcomed by God. Indeed God honours his words more than anything else hence would rather not answer the prayers of born again Christian who seeks His help while still shying away from making peace with those he has offended. Mathew on his own decided to make restitution because he knew it wouldn't make sense for him to keep enjoying the proceeds of robbery of the people while professing Jesus.
If God should answer the prayers of those who have pending personal issues with those they wronged, then He would no longer be the God of justice and fairness and Christianity will no longer appeal to the rational minds.

They will be quoting 1Corinth. 5:17 and Galatians 3:13 for you.
Like seriously, when Luke 10:19 says Bohold! I give you authority over all the powers of enemies. Does mean we've got automatic victory over all enemies?

Forgotten all the truths of the word of God are potential what we have as believers, but except that we enforced those realities, they might never manifest.

I wasted two years of my life believing being a born again has put an end to anything generationl curse.
All thanks to God for whispering what was happening, to myself for being an open person and thanks to the mfm team and Dr. Olukoya and many other that taught me about this.
I never pray for anyone around me to have that experience.

People without an iota of what this thing looks like are fortunate. They can say anything and they will still be correct.
I only pity people who are not as fortunate as they and will still believe them and still argue the matter.
