BY OLA AJAYI, IBADAN
The spiritual leader , One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj ji, has called for the sack of both the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala over their alleged faulty economic policies that would be counter-productive.

Maharaj ji, who was speaking with newsmen, weekend, as part of activities marking the golden age festival of the group said the CBN boss should be removed for his proposal to devalue the naira describing it as a demonic exercise which should be discouraged by Nigerians.

As for the Minister of Finance, he said she should be relieved of her job for the alleged anti-people policy of removing the oil subsidy.

Guru said, if the CBN boss insisted that naira must be devalued without any palliative measures, he should be shown the way out of the exalted position.

According to Guru Maharaj ji, the action of Sanusi since he assumed office, was nothing but an “anti-African czar of the feudalists monks whose uncontrolled taste for modernity berates their outward fake projection of love for the success of the Nigerian project”.

He warned President Goodluck Jonathan to be wary of those that surround him and that he should  remain committed to building human capacities and infrastructures in the interest of common masses that constituted the majority in the country.

He alleged that the restiveness and incessant bombing of the Boko Haram sect was the handiwork of some leaders from the Northern zone of the country who had earlier threatened to make the country ungovernable if they were not given presidency in the 2011 elections.

For peace to reign, he advised President Goodluck Jonathan to get the leaders arrested and try them so that they would not plunge the country into unecessary violence.

To disrupt their plans, Maharaj ji said, “President Jonathan should quickly build human capacities and infrastructures to take care of the ordinary man on the street, particularly the highly trained manpower who are being sold into slavery abroad for succour.”

He also suggested, that the President should increase the strength of the Army to five million and the Police to two million.

He has a right, like every Nigerian. Besides, we have pastors, sheikhs etc making economic decisions for us. Religion and economy are Not mutually exclusive.
