The Federal Government is reviewing the offer of foreign assistance in the battle against kidnapping and other high-profile crimes.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said the United States and other countries, which he did not name, have offered to assist Nigeria.

Hope the assistant would not be in exchange of Nigeria crud oil?

First of all... Shame on our Armed Forces for not been able to curtail the activities of bandits and terrorists on our soil.

Shame on the army for allowing politicians to interfere in their operations, thereby sacrificing our gallant soldiers because of politics and vested interest.

If we need any external help on the fight against bandits.

Lets do the JONATHAN way, get Russian or S/African mercenaries to do the work. America is not to be trusted, they will just turn Nigeria into a more damaged country.

The federal government should not accept any offer from the United States to combat kidnapping.
If the Nigerian armed forces and police cannot, or will not combat kidnapping, then mercenaries or a foreign security group, with a proven track record, should be employed.
