Bishop Ajayi Crowther will be very disappointed in Seyi, this same issue brought a lot of set back for us in the South East where some were classified as 'Osu' children of slaves or returned slaves, while Igbos have made a lot of efforts to totally eradicate the sigma it seems some Yorubas are now making efforts to entrench it in their society all because of party politics, this is not the Yoruba that the world has envied as the most religiously tolerant ethnic group not only in Nigeria but the world.

Bishop Crowther is an Oyo Man from Osoogun, and a proud one at that. He would be proud of Seyi.

I can trace my ancestry as far back as 600-800 years via orikis. Same with Ajayi Crowther and many Saros and Agudas that traced back their ancestry after landing in lagos. But your see that GRV, he is an Ibo man from opobo that refused to trace his origin after they dumped his great grandfather back in Sierra Leone.

To what end?
There is no justifications in using Slavery to insult a fellow black man

GRV still have the potentials of becoming Lagos state Governor...

Potentials ko, propensities ni.
The "true" son of the soil have told your ilk that, after GRV's misadventure in the last governorship election, he will not even win a local government election in lagos, in the future.

Keep deceiving yourselves however the Oracle has spoken ; GRV's political ambition in lagos is D.O.A

Obidients and delusions. 🤣🤣🤣

The only attacks are from Igbos and Obidients. Definitely not for the majority of SWesterners that are proud of him for standing up to the fascist headless mob.

Any small thing they would shout MIT as if Mc Oluomo's son did not graduate from the same MIT 😂
Thanks for adding the screenshot. GRV acts and talks like an alien everytime he opens his mouth. Has he got any other talking points aside trying to divide the Yorubas along state lines with his utterances. Their are words that his mum raised him in the SE as a single mum, and he only moved to Lagos after completing his secondary education.

He needs to be reminded that we don't do that caste rubbish thing or divisive rubbish they do in their region. States were created by the military government. The whole SW region is Yoruba people's playground.

What Igbos never did but are always accused of is what Yorubas have always done and nobody sees anything wrong. Allowing Lagos natives control their State politics is not a wrong doing to Yoruba race but assurance of equity for all. Lagos people can even choose to be their own independent tribes which should be respected by all.

LMAO. Their tribe and culture in lagos is Yoruba. Lagos is encircled by egbas and Ijebus. That's what GRV and many people like yourself are failing to understand. Even a Yoruba man from Togo or Benin Republic will blend and fit more easily into Lagos than a Nigerian called Chinedu.

You are going off point. My comment is on freedom of Lagosians to handle their own affairs and be what they want to be. I know they are mostly Yoruba with Fon at extreme left but people from Osun and Ogun especially are suffocating them and they should breath a little air of freedom.

A black African mocking another black African over slavery. undecided Oh the irony of it.

In case seyi law has forgotten, the slaves were sold into slavery by the ancestors of the so called free-born. The unintended consequences that they could not foresee all those years ago is that today...the prejudice and the contempt of the descedants of the slavers is extended to all black people. This simple fact is lost on the likes of seyi law.

Snobbery among the oppressed. undecided

Only in your brain are people from Osun and Ogun suffocating them. Last I check, Yorubas of Lagos are not complaining. It's PDP, LP politician and of course ibos from several kilometers away from Yorubaland that have been peddling lies for the past 2 decades.

The boy obviously missed foundation years that Yorubas imbibe in their kids from a very young age. He is a very divisive human being. This is not the first time he would be talking nonsense. He was tweeting the same rubbish in the run up to the gurbanitorial election.

Did you read the link
One of the tiresome things about folks like you is the intellectual fraud you perpetuate by just dumping links without reading them.
The writer claimed Akinsemoyin ruling House, son of Ado is of Ilaje origin. Is this true?
He concluded by claiming the British excised Ilaje from Lagos in 1915. This is in contrastto your claim that the British recognised ilaje as part of Lagos.
The writer also goofed by claiming adabrassa as part of Lagos. Are you aware of this goofed before posting the link?

The link was enlightening. I never knew the ILAJES had so much stake in Lagos royalty. I have read about that of The Ijesha (Ilesha) people of Osun.

The ascendancy of Oba AKINSEMOYIN of ILAJE ancestry began an organized monarchical order. Subsequent Obas are of a mixture of Awori, ILAJE and of curious, non residential Ijesha blood.

The same ILAJE blood is traceable in many Lagos royal and notable families including Olumegbon, Oniru and Asogbon.

In that interview on the podcast, the mad man was saying Yorubas from Ogun and other SW states should not interfere in Lagos politics. That's a very foolish statement used by PDP every time. Lol.

Ilajes (Seyi's tribe) have been in trading Lagos as well for over 400 years).
GRVs saro ancestors only arrived from only God knows the Bleep where about about a century or a century and half ago.

That slave narrative is now going to stick and would be weaponized against him in 2027.
Same Jimmy Agbaje tried to divide Yorubas and Oba threatened to drown Igbos? Una dey twist history and believe una lies… lol
