These are some stupid things I used to do when I started.... Which cost me low sales or leads ..

1. Begging people to buy from you or join your business...

Your should not beg people to buy your products or join your business even if you are broke or need money badly...

People buy from people who are confident..

Once they see that you are begging them they will feel you just need their money and they will never buy from you again

2. Reducing your prices up and down

Be stable in your prices...

Be confident..

Know that what you are selling or promoting is solving their problems...

So if anyone is not interested... Just leave them

Everyone cannot be your target audience...

If you charge 5k...

Be stable on it...

Don't because the person says he just have 1k...

You allow him to pay ....

Once they see you keep reducing your prices. They will keep using you to satisfy their ego

3. Not knowing how to create offers before selling

Before you start promoting your business or products...

You need to have a good knowledge of how to create irresistible offers...

Many just end up creating the product or just promote the business..

Not minding the offers...

Whereas it's the offers that make people join or buy...

If you don't know how to create offer... You will suffer ...

That is what others are expecting you to do...

Whether it's a business or products you are selling or promoting.... Still build offers around it...

4. Focusing on the features more than the benefits

That is why you are not making enough sales on WhatsApp if you are WhatsApp seller

You always tell us that the shoe is brown In colour with 5 iches or so...

And then you put prices.

Instead of telling us that if you buy this shoe .... You won't have to suffer ... this or that...

5. NOT CONSISTENT

Many are actually waiting to see how serious you are selling or doing that business you are doing..

Many just post or advertise on day 1... And they just end there...

If you sell ...it today..

Sell it tomorrow....

Advertise it next tomorrow...

Some may be interested but no money at the moment...

Some will have money but just waiting for the deadline... And may forget if you don't remind them...

So always give value every day..

To the point that Even if they don't see your post they know that it's unusual... They will still buy without you advertising it..

Many of you joined this WhatsApp class because I posted it consistently

6. NO FOLLOW UP

Many lack sales.. because of no proper follow up..

Someone Indicated interest in what you do or sell...

But he didn't pay up... That time..

He is just waiting to see more proofs..

Or trying to raise the money...

After 3 days... Remind them...

This time be persuasive

7. NOT KNOWING HOW TO GENERATE LEADS

If you don't know how to generate leads... You better don't promote or sell anything...

One thing you must know is that... The more people you sell to... The more money you make ..

The higher views you have... The higher sales...

If you don't know how to get a group filled up without adding your contact list or running ads..... Then you have not started...


Yes read that again

If you don't know how to generate leads.....

Forget about sales...

Forget about money making....


8. ADDING PEOPLE TO GROUPS WITHOUT PERMISSION

IF YOU ARE STILL DOING ALL THESE...

Spamming is not marketing... Learn how to generate lead...

10. NOT PERSUASIVE ENOUGH

People buy out of emotions...

For them to buy. You need to arouse their emotion...

You need to be persuasive in what you do... Or write or say...

If you don't know how to write persuasively or speak PERSUASIVELY...

Go and learn copywriting...

11. FOCUSING ON YOURSELF MORE THAN THE CUSTOMER

Every time is Me, myself and I...

It's high time you stopped all these ..

And focus more on the customer...

The word to use for them to know you are referring to them and not yourself.. is YOU

When it comes to generating leads

You must learn 3 things 👇

1) Every product you are promoting has a niche.

A Niche means the set of people who that product was created for.. To benefit or to solve their problem..

2) Any product you are promoting is not for everyone.

Everyone is not your customer. Don't sell it to everyone.

3) Every product you are promoting need a lead magnet.

A lead magnet is the promise you make to people in exchange for their email, phone number, time or attention..

For some people, they joined a whatsapp group where they gave me their attention for 2 days.

The attention was to wait for my presentation..

And what you do when people give you attention matters alot..

Use that opportunity to make them like you, trust you and see you as an authority through your presentation

Others joined here through their friends or by visiting my sales page

Your presentation should make them go through 5 phase.

It should...

1) Make them know you.. Base on The way you introduce yourself.

2) Like you... Based on the way you interact with them before the presentation or gift you give them.. And also the type of story you use in your presentation that they can relate with personally.

3) Trust you.. Base on the way you present the testimonies and the type of testimonies you use.

4) See you as an authority..

Base on the way you present yourself.. Your profile picture and stories of people the product you are selling has helped.

5) See you as the best person to buy that product from now.

Base on your packaging, irresistible offer and story of how you were in their shoe before.. But now things has change.

Especially story they can relate with.

Your presentation should take people through these 5 phases.

And at the end, let them feel like the benefits they are getting is many times more than the token they are paying.

Even if they are paying 100k to buy it.

Ensure you don't waste attention..

Use it to the best.

The goal of lead generation is to make people give you their full attention..

Because it is only when they give you their full attention , that you can make them go through your presentation

You don't need to be the best copywriter,


You don't even need to be the best Affiliate Marketer


You just need to be among the 1% in your industry that makes 98% of the money.


Perfection does not exist,


Infact, trying to be perfect is just like just like chasing the wind.


It's futile.


Instead of chasing perfection, just try to be better than you were yesterday.


It's just like climbing the stairs,


Just one step at a time.


And even if you make mistakes along the way ( which is fine)


You learn how not to make that mistake again


If you grow by just 1% daily, by the end of the year you could have grown by 365%


Chase progress not perfection

If you're selling car, educate your audience about how to avoid car breakdown

How to maintain the interior

Etc

If you're selling health products, you can create content around how to avoid getting the sickness

The symptoms of the sickness

Etc

Whatever you sell at all

Take creating content Around your products seriously and see how your sale will jump up

Share tips, strategies and techniques your audience can use to achieve a desired goal

This below is the formula I have used to generate tons of sales without sound desperate or salexy

Give value. Give value. sell. Give value. Give value. Sell.....

Once you become a person of value

Your audience will trust you more and buying from you will become easy

Even if they don't buy, they may refer anyone they know to you

Don't just bombard people with crappy sales messages every time

Take a different approach and watch the magic
