"State capture" is corruption. Common sense should tell you contract is commercial and there is money to be made.

tinubu is giving his cronnies or himself indirectly commercial rights to countries' rail routes possibly for many decades by creating a company with no known competence to execute the contract in his favour.

The harsh reality of Nigerian politics. Turn by turn chopping. For eight years Buhari and co ate, now Tinubu and co are eating.

What this means is that a competent company will be sub-contracted to do a cheap work(usually a poor one) while the suite case company featured in this news inserts a hefty profit for themselves. The result is either delayed or extremely poor job.

The contract will not be executed. The competent company will mobilise to site, shovel the ground a bit and abandon work. Nothing is getting done here.
