There is a certain food I don't really like much, but I began to like it this year because I'm tired of garri (my favorite), rice, yam, and others.

I put some cups of beans in water, but lost the motivation to cook it. After approximately two days in water (I changed the water 3 times), I decided to cook it thinking the softness will make it boil faster since it mostly takes me 2 hours to cook my 2 and half or 3 cups of beans on electric stove.

Guess what? Since yesterday, e never boil. It's more than 12 hours on fire now, but it keeps getting harder. I'm even using the bigger size of the stove. Every passing hour, it gets harder. I used gas, yet same thing. I finally brought it down. I no do again.

I want to dispose it, but a thought came to me to blend it. The beans self don turn brown after suffering hours on fire since yesterday.

Should I dispose it or what can I do with a blended beans?

I always advise people never to give up in life,
but look at me giving up on this one. The beans is just too haaaaard. The softness it had when I soaked it has disappeared.

My Guuuuuuy.
You dey boil beans for 12hrs and e dey harder? Shey the heat na viagra ni.

Blended beans can easily be made into Akara balls my guy.

Slice better onions, add maggi, salt and fresh pepper.

Fry some of the onions inside the oil, then start det cut the beansy paste inside.

Lock your door though, your neighbors go raid your house for the Akara

Hmm. I may be forced to go out. I wanted to be in a house arrest this entire month, but I have no choice than to get those needed ingredients.

I may even add pap and bread even though I don't like them. Also, I don't like oily things except it's red oil.

Never done this before. I know YouTube can help, but I would prefer something else over akara.

As I read through the text only thing I saw was: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. But again know when to leave. Because the longer you stay things gradually go down south.

What?! I've never experienced this before, yes beans takes a lot of time to get soft but I haven't experienced this type of duration and I don't want to ever ... That would be heart wrenching grin!

By the way, the message was well-received.

Add potash or nail to it, it'll help soften it.

Already blended and on fire. If someone had told me that you'll cook beans for two days and it will go from soft to hard, I wouldn't believe.

Get some plantains put it inside your oven and roast it.
Then when it's done, you cut it into smaller pieces and mix it with the beans and palm oil with Maggi and onions.

You'll like it.

You can't turn a dead stone to living stone. It's harder than an uncooked beans. You add all these ingredients only when it's soft and you've rewashed it.
