Upon all these billions being paid to the states no tangible development to show for it, the governors and other political thieves are busy looting these billions for themselves. No good road, no light, no portable water, no good healthcare system, no good education, not infrastructural development to show. Who curse Nigeria? 1 Like |

This is a welcome development. But let's not forget that the current inflation rate has withered away to a largest what would've been achieved with this money. With this information, it's high time we focus our attention on the state government. Some state government are worse when it comes to utilising the money allocated to them. |

jmoore:baba no be everything Dem dey politicize nah.How many of the governors are even paying the wage award to civil servants.as at the last count only 10states are paying it.some of the governor are still paying percentage salary and some are still unable to pay the 30k minimum wage despite almost double allocation and we want to shy away from calling this wickedness.I don't get why you are bringing dollar into the matter when the civil servants in almost all the states are not even getting salary increment to justify the increase in exchange rage or inflation so honestly I don't understand ur point.or it's base on project which we are not even seeing on ground in most of the states. One could blame the centre for policy change that is causing all the issues on ground but on this very topic ooo, most of the governor have shown they got noting to offer but just to steal the public fund. 1 Like |

Ipob miscreant let the governor of your state increases the civil servants salary and compensates the jobless people over there base on dollar rate We are paying more subsidy now than we have ever paid... And we are also paying more for petrol now than we have ever paid Divide those allocation by the exchange rate the u know states are getting far less [/quote] 1 Like |

The bill increase is not from subsidy removal It is from the depreciated exchange rate You sold oil for example at $100 and paid 200 naira during goodluck, 800 naira during buhari and 1600 naira during Tinubu etc 2 Likes 1 Share |

The essence of subsidy-removal is for politicians to have more money steal. Those among the ognorant masses who support it deserve all the unimaginable suffering transferred into their lives as a natural consequence of subsidy-removal policy |
