Omoo, this matter tie wrapper ooo but we all know the tendency of nigerian army to instigate trouble where ever they go though i dont support the killings of our armed forces.

I remember what the armed forces did when they did operation python dance in the SE against IPOB even when the group was yet unarmed, how they disgraced, humiliated and killed nigerians who where excercising their constitutional right of free association.

Many people dont know this but that python dance was a turning point in the SE, needlezz deaths has been recorded on both sides of NA and IPOB right from that time till now, just because some people in uniform wants to flex muscle.

The same thing still happened at lekki toll gate where innocent nigerians where mowed down by those who swore to protect them.

I love the armed forces but those trained for war and to kill have no business in settling communal disputes(thats the common sense) . We have civil defence and police, ( but that doesnt give those people the right to kill our beloved army men).

Let the army people withdraw from their to avoid putting petrol into fire cos violence begeth violence of which creek boys are more than capable to return fire for.fire, we dont need any more lose of livez.

Army are not peaceful force, that is why once they approach you. Just take what ever order they give you and if you must complain, do that later....

When the Soldiers were murdered in a cannibalistic u guys were making mockery & celeberating. they retaliated & u guys r crying & wailing. This mentality that is borrowed from ur Biafran/ Ipob brothers is mere weakness. Blaming the North of ur entire problems while the biggest thieves in this Democratic era that surpass all Politicians r people from the South-South Diezieni & Emelife. Last time I checked they r from the South-South or South. The 30% derivation of a small south-south state is like 5-10 times bigger of the overall allocation of a big Northern state. And there is nothing to show in those states. May be the Northerners are also responsible of the massive squandering & looting in those states. We all have a problem but at least use ur brain & stop such shallow thinking like ur Biafran/Ipob brothers

The Army has been known for side taking in conflict situation particularly when money inducement is involved. Army are not good crisis' managers.

The community's accounts shouldn't be ignored. In the past, this same Army has been accused of this nefarious act in the infamous Warri crises where the Idama Hotel was burnt down. Few years ago, there were also reports of side taking in conflict between Gbaregolor and Esama. What about their dastardly role in recent crisis between Aladja and Ogbe-Ijaw. It is not out of place to say the Army are the fuellers in most crises situation in Delta State. They connived and execute the order of the highest bidders.

If not for the diplomatic role of the Nigerian Navy led by the then Navy Capt. John KpokpogrI, I bet you by now Warri would still be boiling. The presence and the diplomatic efforts of the Navy too to a larger extent quell the conflict between Aladja and Ogbe-Ijaw. The Nigerian Navy, not Army have been more effective in crisis situation in Delta State.

Nobody support the killing of Nigerian Army but the Army must conduct themselves in the most responsible and professional manner while carrying out their constitutional roles unbias. A full scale independent investigation should be conducted to unravel the causes of this crisis and the death of those military men.

This is why the NA needs thorough restructuring and re-orienration ASAP.

If the NA had mostly indigenous Ijaw army reps sent to that peace mission and not sahel meddlers this whole unfortunate event would have taken a very different direction.

The army lost several of its personnel in this attack under circumstances that are still very unclear. Instead of a proper investigation (like its done elsewhere) the next step is burning and wanton destruction. undecided And some Nigerians are ok with it.

When someone said years ago that the number of normal people in Nigeria is less than 7, we all had a good laugh. But behind the laughter, there is a sober reality. There are far too many of us who are not normal. Those who are normal should (for their own safety) very carefully assess and review their ineractions with their countrymen. Their lives literally depend on it.

Is it rocket science to investigate and identify the group that ambushed the soldiers, and deal with them ruthlessly? Instead, the army, majority of whom would shit their pants at the mention of "Sambisa", have decided to demonstrate their cowardice by killing innocent women and children. Always agricultural in their approach. What a shame! I have zero respect for Nigerian Military.
