The police in Borno on Monday confirmed that a suicide bomber injured two persons in Biu Local Government Area of the state.

ASP Daso Nahum, the command’s Public Relations Officer, PPRO, confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday.

Mr Nahum, said that the incident occurred at about 8pm on Sunday, when the Muslim faithful were observing their night prayers.

”The male suicide bomber, who was suspected to be heading to the mosque, detonated the Improvised Explosive Device(IED) close to the roundabout, killing himself.

”Two passersby who were wounded by the explosive were immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment.

”A combined team of security personnel were immediately deployed to the scene of the incident to restore normalcy,” he said.

The spokesman, urged the people to heighten their level of vigilance especially during this period of Ramadan when most Muslim faithful are observing late night prayers.

”People should make sure that they are vigilant and should not hesitate to report any suspicious moves to the security agencies,” he said.

As far as the bombing is killing and reducing their voting power ..... It doesn't bother anyone.

And I hope they won't call on the FG to act on it when it's visibly clear that lots of them up north are blinded by religion.

They should as a matter of urgency increase the rate and spread to SW their ally.

If Tinubulation reduce the population by 1/4, Army reduce by 1/6 then they reduce by 1/3, Tinubu will achieve his target of reducing Nigerians population by half before 2027

Things getting worst, even when Boko Haram was very active, there was a time they don't strike during Ramadan but now the kidnapping that occur during this period is more than what is experienced and now bombings is back

And this is what you have to say for something that happened in the north, you can't blame northerners, Islam nor the Nigerian government for this and since you can't find a way to blame Peter Obi for this, you remembered the south south to blame and justify the evil being done by the Nigeian army on them.

Government of Nigeria is facing multiple security lapses from every front—from North to South, East and West because over the years they have played politics with insecurities because of financial benefits they accrued to themselves.

The truth is, the government is overwhelmed because the government hands are soiled. The government over the years been compromised.

For a long time to come, this insecurities are now our realities. Until we're lucky to have a government straight and man enough to tackle our numerous problems from the root.

The North will never know peace as long as they choose to be stupid and ignorant. Qatar sent names of sponsors of boko Haram to the Nigerian government under Buhari, they refused to release the names to the public why, they are mostly if not all northerners. The army keeps pampering bandits and terrorist, the government keep releasing them in the name of repentant terrorists. Until the northerners wake up from their slumber to know that they are alone in this fight and that their elites don't care about them.
