You're right tho. But we still have some king who are not carried away by the deceptions of the imported religions

Is Christianity native to Europe, or imported from the Middle East

Same here.
I love his stance during the Ajimobi mistake that attempted to destroy the olubada heritage. Ladoja was among the few that stood in defence of the throne and refused to break away. The recently deceased olubadan was among those who broke off.
May Ladoja live long to ascend the throne

Exactly why I want to see him become the Olubadan. He’s the only one worthy of the Olubadan throne since the death of Oba Saliu Akanmu.

The question should be: is Christianity native to Nigeria or imported from Europe to Nigeria?

What's your affiliation with Ladoja?
Or just because he's a political figure now he's deserving of your prayers

When all the senior chiefs took lesser crowns to denigrate the throne from Ajimobi, he stood his ground in support of the then Olubadan and refused the lesser crown. He’s the only one deserving of the throne since the exit of Oba Saliu Akanmu.

The succession line of kingship is the best arrangement put in place by the people of ibadan....if not this would have caused crisis and chaos in the ancient town of ibadan.....
May God grant the incoming king longer life too!

Kings are charged with custody and protection of the cultural and religion heritage of the people they govern. They are also respected elders that can serve as mediators in time of conflict.

Edited: They tend to work to actively create mutuality, friendly atmosphere, trust and cooperation between their own people and the next neighbors of different culture and territory.

Like Oba of Lagos abi?

So where does Ladoja fall into this arrangement. I used to think he was the next Olubadan.

There's civillian head and military head. The current king is military head, Ladoja is civillian head and will take over after him. Then after Ladoja, the next military head takes over.

Kingship is not for young people in Ibadan, how weird, can't they make 30-35yrs to be balogun as in next line to the next king

I prayed for Rashidi Ladoja to live long enough to become the Olubadan. If you can’t understand something that simple and straightforward, it’s your problem.

To become Balogun Olubadan or Otun Olubadan, you must climb about 22 titles in order of seniority. You can only move when there is vacancy above you. So, you get promoted as someone above you die. Except someone around 30-35 who is on the queue want to kill everyone above him, it’s impossible to see a 35yrs old become an Olubadan.

With all due respect to the great Ibadan people, is the position a ceremonial stool or it's a position where the Olubadn has to function in the capacity of a king, giving directives of day to day running of the kingdom? If the latter is the case , don't you think these men are too old for such duties.
