The new appointed CBN by this government cleared the logs while Emefiele that was appointed by GEJ couldn't.

Are you happy now Mr Reasonable

Because the CBN under Cardoso cleared the FX backlog he created, it becomes an achievement, a development news, a blueprint achievement no president has ever done.

Six months ago, the then Acting Governor of CBN, Folashodun Shonubi, told us that the CBN was going to clear a $10 billion FX backlog in two weeks. Did you describe it as development news?

Take a break from NL bro. You are sounding incoherently.

Don't be blinded with politics, after all all politicians are crooks .

You can't just be jumping from one thread to another arguing blindly all the time all in the name of sounding politically correct

We’ve been posting 30 something billion for several years with exploding population

We need to grow our reserves to 100s of billions to catch up with the imports we’ve unrestricted and growing consumption

Oga leave all these noise from tinubu propaganda noise making newspaper.
All these noise does not reduce the price of fuel, garri, rice, neither does it improve the standard of hell living Nigeria has been thrown into.

You do this , you do that. What has it done to pull us out from the great tinubulation that is hitting the nation?
Anything you claim to be doing or have done that does not reflect on the economy and cost of goods and service is as useless as the 'P' in the word Psychology.

Return the dollar to were you found it. Forget about the 216 or 300 to a dollar noise. Return it back to where you found it on may 29

We re floating naira, pls go back to school if you re a graduate.

Prices of goods would eventually drop as the Naira keeps appreciating in value..

no we need to maintain a low ratio if our currency is to become strong......what do you want to be importing that you need hundreds of billions of dollars for? Our love for dollar is what started part of our economic issues today......though undoubtedly it will grow in the next few years I just want strict control on its use so we don't find ourselves in another 1800 to 1 dollar fiasco.....

Nigeria is a net importer
Your theory won’t work
International trade works on short term debt, you get a quote, buy, get an invoice and settle
People trust you to give you that short term credit based on your reserves. Low reserves means low trust and you’ll have to pay cash upfront for everything. You lose money that way

Destroy the economy by 200%. Improve it by 10%, activate Stockholm syndrome, and voila, the economy is "improving." grin

God will judge Cardoso too for crashing our naira in less than six months. The naira lost over 100% of its value in six months, something never witnessed in the history of this country.
