This should have been the job of the police right from the onset, what was army doing in okuoma community “settling land dispute”😒😒
The entire police force has become useless, they are meant to fight boko haram, bandits, kidnappers and other internal security challenges, but They are are nowhere to be found, except to be mounting Ross blocks, shooting innocent civilians, invading peoples homes like armed robbers. Now ordinary small communal insecurities, army don chance them again🥲🥲

This whole story never too clear sha. The Nigerian army never really talk true Wetin dem dry find for that community, they claimed they went yo rescue someone, community said they came to arrest leaders after initially killing three members of the community, I don’t know who you would believe ooo but the Nigerian army is known to have lied several times. The records are there

Have you been to delta state, Police can't do shit there, nobody fear the police, Navy and Army are those that can resolve anything there, especially the Navy.

Go to Israel ,all cases Israel army handles it in Israel, Nigeria is not the only nation using their soldiers to settle dispute or community clash ,These are countries that use their soldiers most often and Police men are mostly grounded, Pakistan, Nigeria, Israel, Russia, North Korea , Mexico , Ecuador etc .when you live with stubborn citizens you use soldiers instead of police

Most of you don't understand the function of military and paramilitary. You don't know their duties because you live in a country that doesn't function and anything goes.

A war that will not end, such incidents will happen again and again in different part of Nigeria. You keep making the same mistakes and expect different results. Let’s watch and see how this your so called war will end

I understand that generalizing is wrong, but to be honest all the people I have seen asking for the people to be exterminated are either Yoruba or Hausa, someone with bias for these two tribe will easily generalize.

I feel for all the innocent people there.

Sadly, as Odi showed, once there is a state of emergency in an area because millitary personnel have been killed, best thing the rest of us can do is pray, chikena.

Police kuku get sense well well, dem no wan collect wotowoto so dem just comot eye for di mata kwik kwik.

The land that both communities want to kill themselves over, can they touch that land now? Nigerians need to learn how to lose a fight and not the battle.

Army no gi comot dat place till dem burn am finish and nobodi go say pim.

Normally the police are to remind the military of her responsibility and not that of the military to be involved in the internal operation of the country. Nigeria police are playing politics with it's responsibility

The guy na illiterate. What they are simply saying is the army is so angry that they are ready to even shoot any police on ground on sight. The real news on ground is that army is killing innocent citizens of that community on a daily. Two days ago a man reported army lure them into a hall in disguise to safeguard them only to open fire on them. This is the one reported o. There are many unreported crime going on right now by the army seeking revenge. They really think those who committed the crime will wait for army reprisal? It is innocent unarmed citizens that are suffering

Army have no business in interfering in this matter in the first place. They should go to the boarders, because that's where their jobs are required.

The kind of abuse that community will be experiencing at the moment in the hands of those military men, they'd wish they died. Nigeria police and military only knows how to abuse the civilians. However this is not me supporting the killing of those military men. I am only asking that the military men presently at Okuama handle themselves professionally.

And what do civilians know how to do Nigeria police and Military, do we praise or appreciate them or even regard them as humans

The fact that these incident happened in ODI 2001 and Still repeated itself in gruesome manner is that not evidence enough that civilians will do worst to security agents if they have needed ammunition

If people of okuoma have behaved like civilian will we be here begging Military to be professional, if these had happen in America or Uk will the govt declare free sharwama for the people of okuama or take it lightly

You are the one who needs to understand there jurisdiction and classification to cases

Military killing for instance is higher case, considered classified cos it concerns and affect the military, the military are of higher hierachy you don't expect the military to be at the mercy of police for investigation and evidences

Are we even serious, In a place were sophiscated top military were killed like bush meat is that were you will deploy yori yori policemen to go ... undecided
