Thought we owed US so much that they always try to dictate to us every now and then.

China is the most likely to take over national assets
US gives Nigeria billions in aid not loans, Bill Gates and his ex-wife alone singlehandedly spent over $14bn to provide Nigeria with polio vaccines since the 80s.

Stephench:

Don't compare the US to any other country. They can always print money and pay their debts. Until the dollar is dumped, the US will not go down. Wish it happens very quickly then they'll go broke immediately because they will not be able to maintain the responsibility they've put upon theirself

The point is, the US is 'onigbese' too and if countries are to be identified by the debts they owe, the US would definitely be among.

My advice to everyone, spend your heart earned money as you wish. Wether e concern you or not, you will still pay this debt. Reminds me of secondary school days, Wether you make noise or not, you go still collect general banter when SP pass by your class.

Imagine Nigeria is owing India with their poverty.

Very soon we go borrow from Ghana and Niger and yet EFCC keep recovering billions of Naira and dollars.
Why can’t they use the money to pay these debts and avoid borrowing? The 3.5 trillion padded in the budget alone can settle part of the debt.

Wicked Country

India is a G20 country. Trying to come up as smart

Why don't you post the link to what you are talking about? You mean Nigerian external debt? That figure you quoted doesn't represent Nigeria's external debt

This money is too small...dangote can pay this debt in five years.cos that refinery is a money spinner.(hard currency) . That refinery would catapult him to upwards of 50billion dollars in the coming yrs if not more.
