This story of an escaped Binance director show that the insecurity in Nigeria is well planned by the security agencies including the politicians. The truth be told. Once you assume that also villa you're been briefed on how this country is been run. You just see yourself helpless and play along. We know our problems but poverty qill not let us vote them out, we keep recycling the same set of bandits as political leaders. God help this nation.

Some Nigerians will not accept this write up because no part of it is dedicated to insulting Tinubu. Worst of it is that, some Muslims who's religion was being respected before this incident happened will still blame the government rather than the man who used the religion as a cover to perfect his evil intention.

Imagine that, because it happened in Japan and the UK, this embarrassing event is normal.

This is the problem I have with this regime and their supporters. They are in the habit of making stupid and foolish comparisons instead of being responsible enough to accept their obvious cluelessness and incompetence.
They always want to validate their failures with example s from other climes, but will refuse to copy the good governance from abroad

and it seems like the escapee has simply complicated his situation, by turning himself into an international fugitive

Don't deceive yourself... he's a British citizen... he won't be arrested and returned to Nigeria by Interpol... the world doesn't trust our legal / judicial system to give him fair hearing / trial

The Tinubu administration is even making efforts. Eight days to the end of his tenure, Buhari was asking the National Assembly to approve yet another loan.
Clueless must mean something else, because you guys NEVER used clueless to describe Buhari.
Tinubu has at least until the end of his tenure. You don't score an exam until the paper is submitted.

How do you guys sleep with all these propaganda?

So Alamieyeseigha did not escape from UK to Nigeria?

Most comments on Nairaland are made by pure illiterates like you who always lack historical facts to back up their hateful assertions.

Well, it is a free platform, and where else would we get our daily dose of comedy if not from people like you.

The truth is that Nigerians are just too corrupt and that's why it's difficult for this country to move forward. Even those clamoring for Peter Obi and castigating Tinubu are only doing so for their benefits. Obi cannot do anything as far as this country is concerned. Tinubu is trying and I must tell u that Nigerians will never allow things to work no matter how the government try.

Where did you get your own information that he was on bail?

He was on house arrest (same as the escaped Binance executive), guarded by British policemen.

Fortunately, your own opinion does not matter in the national scheme of things. You can only express it innocuously on an anonymous platform.

Some of u guys like to masturbate over issues that don't have bearings in ur life, when the binance guys were arrested in the first place u wailers were the ones asking the rationale behind their arrest, now one of the executive was able to pull a fast one and u guys have started to cry uncontrollably while the issue is bad, the government is still on top the situation so u guys premium tears should not be wasted

How is Binance guilty of tax evasion in Nigeria? Do they have a Nigerian office? So if I buy stuff from Lenovo in the US, Lenovo owes Nigeria tax?

Also on the court order and detention, which came first? You invited someone to talk. They came and you arrested them. Good luck getting any foreign company to come and talk to you in Nigeria. Speaking of which, has Twitter built office in Nigeria yet?

I hate when our collective intelligence is insulted. This is a distraction. Solve the problem of poor standards in Nigeria, security and availability of food.

Seems there is something being overlooked here.
Those 2 fellows are staff of the company, not owners. Or they being held hostage in place of the company seeing the organisation does not have physical holdable presence in the country?
Let all this not be cruise at the end of the day just for public consumption.

What brought about Japan and UK in this matter? Did you people ever compare yourselves with them in terms of development and progress? Why must you always display your foolishness? I like the way Nigeria is dealing with the process until when they start justifying nonsense

According to Nigeria's agbado regime, Binance are the reason why Naira became worthless. grin grin grin

Has hatred of yourself, Nigeria, Tinubu and Yorubas made you blind plus bereft of conscience and human decency also?

It is also a very good opportunity to see where the international community stands on this matter? Their noise about fighting corruption and building institutions – now is the time to see whether it's lip service or not?

Will they take the side of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, or the side of a cryptocurrency exchange that has a global reputation for violating laws and regulations, and was recently hit with the biggest fine - $4.3 Billion - ever issued by the United States Treasury?
