You have said it all. We all gat to braze up.

More than obvious.
Same Tinubu goverment that said "subsidy is gone",but has been found to be paying subsidy through the backdoor. This is a goverment built on lies, propaganda and deceit.
It doesn't need rocket science to know that for kidnappers in Nigeria of today to release all 137 children they abducted, without casualties on their side, from a security operation, money must have changed hands.
Re: Kuriga School Children: It's Not Important if Ransom Was Paid Or Not - Gov Sani by Topman7: 9:15am On Mar 26
Tinubu is too smart to allow those children to be hurt.

He was glad to pay that ransom.

Any tragic story about those kids would have been highly damaging politically, and internationally, to his administration.

He just had to pay.

I watched the Governor's interview on Channels TV yesterday and I can say Gov Sani Uba is an unintelligent man. He has become so daft that he can't speak coherently on his own. we know this is because he is being remotely told what to say and what not

Most of all these Governors are puppets of the powers that be, and these principalities and powers in the North controls banditry and terrorism too.

Oga Governor, no one is so bothered as well. The Federal Govt spokesperson started it all by saying that no ransom was paid before it was countered by others. So direct your blames to the right quarter & advise them to stop ruling by mere propaganda. Period.

This is confirmation that it was paid

Very high amount

The denial is part of the conditions they were given to be allowed to stay safe for another 2 months before the next season film.

Good businessmen everywhere.

It is normal. They will track them within 1 month. Pay ransom first then track them later.

True. No amount of money paid for ransom is worth the Life of any human being.

Only a naive and zombified agbadorian will believe the bandits simply handed more than 100 kids to the army without receiving a single Kobo!

Stop paying them ransom. They use the money for more weapons.Thats why rhey always come back more like Oliver Twist.

In the Niger Delta, there vessels carrying bunkered oil that the military cannot touch.

Intercept them, and you'll get a call from your commanding officer to release the vessel...

These oil thieves have generals under their payroll.. So what makes you think Gumi is just a mere Islamic Scholar?

Yes no doubt Gumi is highly placed and that doesn't mean he can't he touched. El-zacchacci or what is he called did more and had high level followership but he's crushed now.
When govt is ready they will handle him.

I stand with the governor on this. But the Honest truth is that ransom was paid. The federal government should be Bold enough to Admit it. But they do not want to Admit it cos it may make sheik Gumi someiow right. In other words the government has indirectly been behind kidnappins without them knowing its not about tinubu nor Buhari or apc yes even pdp at federal and at some states do pay ransom at one point or another. The only place the people are worried is governments Dishonesty in telling the citizens not to pay ransom and risk their loved ones. thats not good coming from the government. but if you do not agree with this governor then pray and wait till one of your own is taken in

With ransom to the bandits the battle has just began, you can't empower these monsters with money and you think you will win the war soon, you just temporarily solved a problem but in the near future it will come against you stronger.

"Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has stated that the argument over the payment of ransom to free the abducted Kuriga students is irrelevant"

According to the governor, it's immaterial whether a ransom was paid to FREE the kidnapped school children or not. Well, if it is immaterial, why lie about it in the first place? You, the governor made it a focal point and you want the public to act like they did NOT hear what they heard. The problem with those ruining Nigeria is that you have utter disregard and disrespect for the citizens and believe that Nigerians are too stupid to think for themselves. I reckon that many Nigerians are dumb and stupid but not all of them. Every right-thinking Nigerian knows that the kidnappers who demanded billions of worthless Naira before they would release the children would NOT turn around and release them out of the goodness of their hearts without money exchanging hands. So, Mr. Governor, stop your lies. It serves no discernable purpose for you to lie to the public, especially on this matter. You should come clean if you want this issue to be put to rest.

Obviously most governors don't know anything about security. How can you say weaponizing terrorist is not important. Every single money paid to them would be used for bigger project like acquisition of high tech gadgets and weapons for possible attack on the government and if possible take over government. What does he think they want to do with 1 billion? Marry? Eat? grin grin. That's for some serious weapon that will lead to bigger terrorism.

I think I'll rather go with the governor on this. Whether ransom was paid or not, it is immaterial. What is so important to me is the lives of all these rising stars and innocent lads. God help Nigeria. Amen!
