That's a red river hog, not a warthog. They are called the most beautiful pigs in the world and live near rivers. They are only native to west Africa and we should learn to preserve them more , not hunt them into extinction.

This is how we hunted animals like leopard, lions into extinction. Some of our grandparents hunted elephants self but dem don finish today

A lack of environmental protection and a growing population has destroyed the entire wildlife and forest in Nigeria. Nigeria has a population that is beyond its capability.

The country will soon regret this destruction, but it will be too late by then.

All na bushmeat at the end of the day. My problem is we have no sense of conservation. Trap the creature, force it to mate with domestic counterparts then raise the offsprings. Our people only care for today’s plate of food, tomorrow be damned.

I hate the fact that these hunters don't know that for every successful kill, these animals become rare and closer to extinction. Gone are the days we used to see these animals in our farms.

We are not supposed to be on their food chain.
