Tinubu to attend burial of 17 soldiers killed in Delta

Nwachukwu said the slain soldiers would be laid to rest at the National Cemetery, Abuja, at 3 pm.

The burial of 17 soldiers recently killed in Okuama Community in Delta State has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

This was announced in a statement by Army spokesperson, Maj.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

According to him, President Bola Tinubu would be the Special Guest of Honour at the event.

Nwachukwu said the slain soldiers would be laid to rest at the National Cemetery, Abuja, at 3 pm.

It would be recalled that the troops of 181 Amphibious Battalion were killed in an ambush while on a mission in Okuama community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta on Thursday, March 14, 2024.

The military has reported they were on a “peaceful and mediatory mission” in response to a reported communal clash between the community and Okoloba in Bomadi LGA of Delta.

The Nigerian Army is not fond of publicly disclosing the identity of fallen personnel, especially in the case of mass casualties, but it made an exception for the Okuama victims in a publication on Monday, March 18.

You’ll also recall that following the incident, the president in his reaction to the attack granted “full authority” to the military to bring anybody found to have been responsible for the attack to justice.

In a separate statement earlier on Monday, Army spokesperson, Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, said efforts are ongoing to carry out the directive.

“Troops are determined to get to these criminals, there is certainly no hiding place for them,” he said.

Tinubu with misplaced priorities.
He didn't attend the burials of those killed in the north, he didn't attend the burials of those killed in plateau because of his failure to provide security,in fact, he has never been there for Nigerians.

Peter Obi is resetting Tinubu's brain sha.
Because of Peter Obi he "cancelled" his birthday party.

Anyways, Tinubu's handlers are too dull to know what to do.

This country amuses me at times.

Every now and then, Nigerian gallant soldiers are massacred in the North-East, why haven't the past and present president honour their burial?

Since 2011 to date, over 10,000 soldiers has been killed by boko haram... Does it mean their death and fight against insurgency means nothing to the federal government?

Pls, let's sit and think for once. How come these strong Nigerian Youths have been manipulated to take joy in Killing Nigerians? The bitter Truth is that those that enslaved the forefathers of Nigerians later did some mental manipulation on our People that makes many Nigerians to see being destructive as more rewarding. Yes, the fault is on our Government(victim of Colonial Manipulation) but not just the Government, the many Youths too are to blame: Yahoo boys using females and even their parents for Rituals, Fulani Youths Herdsmen Killings, these Niger Delta Youths Killing, etc. All these are direct effects of the manipulations and Negative Social Engineering done on Nigeria by the Colonial Masters, they are still pulling the strings behind the scene. We need to remodel the mind-enslaving Education System they handed to us for Nigerian minds to genuinely love fellow Nigerians regardless of Tribe and Religious Difference. They know what Nigeria would become if we are Allowed to truly Love one another.

What good has IMF done for Nigeria? Who forced Babangida to Commence the Devaluation of Naira as at when ₦1 was Greater than $1? What did Bill Gate come to secretly discuss with President Tinubu? Who advised Dangote to go and buy Crude Oil from America instead Nigeria so that Fuel price would not come down?

Only the truly wise University Graduates and Undergraduates would start Business or Farming (which is the wisest and easiest Productive action to take) after reading this, those that designed the Western Education for us said they "don't want a Nation of Thinkers(Community/Humanity Problem Solvers) they want a Nation of dumbed-down Literate People who will never truly use their Brains" Truly, Slavery was re-orchestrated and camouflaged, a Million Thanks to the guy that shared this on NL. Like if you Agree with the eye-opening Truth that he said:
moscobabs:
JUST ANOTHER COMMON SENSE LECTURE.

Give N150,000 to a secondary school dropout and watch him buy a stove, a frying pan, cooking oil and other things to start Indomie business.

In just three years, the young man will have a wife, a plot of land worth N1million, a Tokunbo car, a TV, sofa, bed, etc in his one-bedroom house.

Give N1m to most university graduates and watch them buy Samsung Galaxy phones and several pairs of skinny jeans, take their numerous girlfriends out, take selfies and post them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

In less than two years, they will be buying Indomie on credit from the secondary school dropout and paying rent or staying in their parents' house.

The question is:
DOES EDUCATION BREED WASTE, ARROGANCE, GULLIBILITY AND STUPIDITY?

Education does not necessarily breed any of the above, but it makes you look down on possibilities as "not befitting my status".

Unemployment is actually higher amongst the educated than amongst the uneducated.

The uneducated are more innovative and ready to do what the educated will refer to as "dirty, menial jobs".

And before you know it, the uneducated guy will be needing an Accountant to manage his finance books and will now employ the educated guy!

That is the reality of our society!

Just as people are scattering your principal with facts as in using it as they condemn him, why not point out facts you'd use against the man (whoever it is ) that you mean ?

Who knows, you might be undoubtedly right, and taken seriously.
