The collapse of this building was not as a result of human error or negligence as many here will think. It goes beyond that. It was a spiritual attack.
This guy is sick mental! Urgent medical care is needed to rescue this young guy from his current state of health! Let's lend a hand of help, because of his immediate family.
Why do we always attach spirituality on incidents, caused by human errors to escape blame, or punishment? Oh Africa!

No pillar to hold the roof at the centre.

This is very unusual! All the contractors have to be summoned. Winners don't joke with their constructions, they always go for quality band best standard ever.

Someone must have tried to cut corners for personal gains, thereby endangering lives.

I have been privileged to be involved in one of the church buildings and I can tell yhu for sure, that they frown at anything substandard.
under quotes of materials to win contract, using substandard materials to meet up demand on projects, short payment of artisans, masons, workers in general, using unqualified workers are causes of all this collapses, overall let both project owners and contractors be diligent enough to give the coming occupants of buildings or properties feel secure using those properties we are building on earth.

Why won't it collapse when there's no pillars in the middle

Faith tabernacle in Ota was built without pillars in between the church structures.
The Wukari church wanted to test their faith too by trying to build without pillars.
God have mercy
u can compare iron span with wood
Re: Living Faith Church Wukari, Taraba State Building Collapsed! by GenderMix: 9:39am On Mar 31
The cause of the collapse is very simple

Using wood as roof trusses to span such depth requires structural beams either made of concrete or steel...This is completely absent and that's why the wood roof trusses caved in.

The solution would have been to use steel roof trusses because they can span great lengths. Ofcourse with a structural engineer advise.

It is very unfortunate how we underestimate the involvement of professionals in this part of the world. RIP to the dead

The church is more than a building. The church is the universal communion of the saints and it cannot collapse

Was it ever implied that the Body of Christ was the one suffering collapse in that report?
Quit being the typical Nigerian pseudo-spiritual Christian bigot and speak to the issue on ground. 🙄

On the 26th of February, 2024 a building belonging to the Living Faith Church in Wukari, Taraba State, Nigeria, had collapsed, trapping Two People inside. It was reported that the building was undergoing renovation when the incident happened. The cause of the collapse was not confirmed at the time.

The incident caused panic and resulted in the death of one person at the spot, one person reported to have been injured. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, and the injured person was rushed to the hospital for treatment where he still receiving treatment.

The building did not collapse, the roof caved in.

The roof span and pitch resulted in too much weight without support within the hall in the form of columns

Since when did poor construction practice become a spiritual attack?
Re: Living Faith Church Wukari, Taraba State Building Collapsed! by fineboynl(m): 9:49am On Mar 31
They should use iron for such roofing. Just imagine using wood for such a big building? That's certainly not safe.

Madness. No pillars. I guess they couldn’t afford steel

Sigh... How on Earth do you roof such a large and wide building without central supports or pillars?!!!

This is beyond greed and wickedness.

Most Nigerians really don't value the lives of their fellow countrymen.

Some people build houses in such a way that they themselves will never agree to live in.

Despite the glaring defect, nobody will be held accountable. After all, the incident of The Synagogue that happened some years back that even killed people, its founder and contractors walked free.

Also, one could see fellow Nigerians whom or whose friends or family could have been a victim already attributing the incident to spiritual attack as a way to create a soft landing for their god of men.

When you see some people leaving the country, it is because of issues like this. Any idiot with a little change in this country can do anything and get away with it. Even so, when you throw in religion somehow.

To Sin means “to miss the mark”

The church missed the mark on this one.
