Nigeria has several vehicle manufacturers including Innoson and Proforce.
I don't know why y'all keep up with this bullshit that those companies aren't vehicle manufacturing companies. No company manufactures vehicles 100%, all of them outsource parts.

Toyota uses engine components from Denso and entertainment system from Bangs and Olufsen
Some Mercedes vehicle engines are manufactured by VK
Audi uses engines from Pune

I will start by setting a strategy to outline the existing assembly plants across the country and then develop a supply chain that can support the assembly plants; this will include the provision of Steel, Polymers and Aluminium, tyres and Windscreen that account for 75% of the manufacturing of a car.

Unfortunately, the current minister of Industry is clueless and cannot drive the revival of the automobile industry in Nigeria. In the 1970 -90s, Nigeria assembled 150,000 vehicles and all those vehicles were consumed by the Nigerian government establishment and local consumers.

I have listed some of the following unused assembly plants in Nigeria.

JAC Motors. 45,000 capacity
VON (Stallion Motors) 25,000
Peugeot(Dangote) 45,000
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company. -Capacity
NORD Capacity 5000
GIC Motor Companies Ltd,
ANAMMCO

I think you were hasty in ur response. Vehicle manufacturing is highly power intensive. A country with dilapidated electricity will lag grately in this area.
