EmiloCorn: It's good you admit there's religious persecution but if you have ever been in a desperate situation you will also understand that the help that comes your way is what you'll take....it might not be as much as 10m to travel out when she did and it might not even be her money too, maybe she just wanted to relocate to lagos where it is not also 100% free from religious persecution too and someone offered to help her out of the country completely does she have a choice of turning that offer down? Other people's conditions or problems cannot be solved following your own A to C solution sometimes their's can only be solved following C to A so do not judge based on your own perception. 1 Like |

Why are Yorubahs attacking their own? Religious percecution varies in terms of context. Forcing someone to become traditional ruler where the consience objects is also Religious persecution. Secondary, the high level of tribalism in Nigeria is also religious persecution. Reading some of your tribal slurs in Nairaland is as good as death sentence. |

He is a poor man when compared to Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga etc, but his illiterate blodas prefer to be hyping a dumb man like Obi You can make him your Biafran prime minister, but he can never be our president in Nigeria. |

FreeStuffsNG: I agree with you here. She is lieing! FreeStuffsNG: From her age, she most likely got NOTHING from Nigeria as a nation. Her parent paid for everything she has become from healthcare to her education. FreeStuffsNG:Yes we have patients here too but the few of us who got any job in the system are practically working as slaves in our own country. In those days, *Several scholarships abound, many tenable in Russia, USA and Uk *Job was available : only a lazy man wouldn't get any job to do *An NYSC Corper can buy a brand new Volkswagen Beetle! *A fresh graduate can purchase a brand new Chevolet (equivalent to a Toyota Camry) on loan facilitated by the FG *Artesians like Bricklayer, Carpenters and Traders built the 3-4 storey buildings in our towns and villages * $1.00 used to be N0.66 Now, Enter Our Politicians *They stole the nation blind and caused a massive inflation in the process that $1.00 is now N1400.00 *Kobo disappeared from our currency because of inflation. N1, N5, N10, N20 and N50 are completely useless because of these people who wrecked the Nation. *Good jobs not available for citizens again: most of those who are lucky to get one can just manage to survive on a subsistence level. Now, why should a Nigerian not want to mace to another country where their politicians have built their nation and their is national prosperity and hope for the populace? Why is their such a level of desperation in Nigerians abroad not wanting to come back home? These I think are some of the problems: if they come back to Nigeria, do you have HOPE for PROSPERITY in store for them? 2 Likes |

[quote author=FreeStuffsNG post=129186679]Adegboye said she sees the deportation order from federal immigration officials as a death sentence for her family, which now includes two more children who were born in Canada. She issued a plea for Canada to reverse the deportation so she can continue to build a life for her children and care for her patients. Obviously, she's lying! The family is lying by raising religious persecution. They are Yoruba and in Yorubaland there's no religious persecution. The 3 religion of Christianity, Islam and Yoruba traditional Isese religion exist side by side even in every family and community. She should have been honest enough to state the main reason instead of denigrating her place. This is what you get when you build your lives on lies. Truth will eventually catch up with you. If you check her background now, she's probably one of those educated with tax payers money and on graduation deserted the nation for a foreign country that made zero investment in their public education before leaving Nigeria. We have patients in Nigeria too and we need more health workers too. Please come back home with dignity, your children are watching and learning from you if you build their lives on lies. They will grow up not seeing anything wrong with lying and denigrating their origin. God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs! Where you not in this country where gun men enter a church in ondo to kill ppl? There is religious descrimination even in the state and federal ministry, so where is the lie? |

maasoap:Patience doesn't harm, and having full knowledge about a case is the best way to avoid unnecessary wickedness. Some uears ago, there was no general religious persecution in Abuja when a woman was brutally killed in a neighbourhood in the FCT. She was a member of RCCG. It was a planned attack but her killers were never brought to book. No Nigerian fought for her, she was buried, and that was it. If she had fled abroad from Abuja, many of us would have condemned her like we are doing today. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/07/abuja-preachers-murder-killed-mother-like-chicken-15-yr-old-daughter/ After initial gra gra, nothing happened. If she had escaped abroad where she could be far away from fear of any kind, a lot of people here would have tagged her a liar. |
