True Federalism is all we need. If "United States of Nigeria" will make us achieve true Federalism, then let's run with it. How can a Fulani man from Katsina determine the fate and destiny of an Ijaw man in Bayelsa? Also, we should do like Great Britain when it comes to Football, let the old Southern and Northern protectorates have their respective football teams to represent them at international tournament. I say this because the Northerners are now trying to bring quota system to our national team. The governors can, just remove their Immunity just like in US where governors don't have any immunity and see them behave like normal human beings.

I prefer Federation of Nigerian States, then we proceed to amend the constitution to devolve more powers and resources to the States

In the past 10 years I have written many articles bordering on the subject matter. Nigeria can only develop to meet up with the western world, if individual States becomes confederating units. Some states in Nigeria are so lazy that without federal allocation they cannot pay salary.
Individual States manage their resources and pay 50% of it revenue to the central government. The national government will be responsible for the Army, Navy, Air Force, customs, immigration and other federal government concerns.
