blacknp:
Other than the fact that he has an Igbo name, he was born in old Bendel State, grew up there, schooled there, went to university in Ibadan, & has been doing business in Lagos State since graduation.

So it is quite hard to understand all this fuss of been an Igbo man, u have done nothing to add to who Allen Onyeama is today, if been igbo had helped you to be anything, you wouldn’t have been on Nairaland today wailing.

Look, I don't have time for your irritating and childish idiocy driven by inferiority complex and the need for constant validation. It is anal.

If I was a kid like you'd I'd easily chop out a list of very successful Yoruba women without breaking a sweat that would be full of distinguished international achievers like the lady below. I.e Mo Abudu who is Africa's most succesful woman and our own Tyler Perry.

Your antics is why I told a Nairaland hypocrite, Deepsight, that Yorubas dont start this back and forth.

We merely react to the disrespect from insecure and pugnacious Igbos such as yourself claiming here that Yorubas are nothing internationally whereas our women are champions across the board in business, entertainment, academics, sports, politics etc etc.

For example, just name any Igbo female who is as great as the legendary Tiwa Savage or even 21 year old Ayra Starr.

Kemi Badenoch is a British Member of Cabinet. Most Yorubas just dont have time or inclination to dig for names because we are not anal and not wired like that.

My annoyance is that when Yorubas, usually happy to ignore you lot, decide to have your time and treat your mental malaise that leads to intemperate, offensive and inconsiderate bragging then cowardly characters will put Yorubas and Igbos in the same category instead of correctly castigating the one offensive and divisive ethnic group always riling up all others.

I suggest you take your silly list and shove it you know where.

Mo Abudu named ‘Africa’s most successful woman’ by Forbes Africa
10th March 2024

The Chief Executive Officer of the EbonyLife Group, Mosunmola Abudu aka Mo Abudu, has been recognised as the 2024 Businesswoman of the Year at the prestigious Forbes Africa Woman Awards.

The event was held at the Emperor’s Palace, Johannesburg, South Africa, on March 8, which was International Women’s Day.

Abudu’s exceptional leadership and achievements in the corporate world earned her the title. Under her guidance, EbonyLife Group has become a powerhouse in the entertainment industry, comprising EbonyLife Films, EbonyLife Studios, EbonyLife Creative Academy, and EbonyLife Place; a luxury entertainment resort.

Abudu’s notable productions include highest-grossing blockbusters such as Fifty, The Wedding Party, Your Excellency, and Òlòtūré.

Why dont you comment then to castigate him firmly? Instead you only speak up to lump Yoruba and Igbo together just to play to the gallery and gain likes.

Yorubas don't have time for Igbos. That is a fact. Even from how the number of Yorubas in Igboland is negliguble while they are more than 10 million in the entire SW tells a very revealibg story about who cannot stay away from the other.

Is something wrong with you? I should put up a 'one love' kumbaya list with someone who says only Igbo women are achievers and Yoruba women are worthless internationally and only relevant in Nigeria when we know Yoruba women are some of the most iconic global leaders out of the African continent?

When will your sort get it that Igbos have no love for Nigeria or respect for other Nigerians? It was decades ago Azikiwe, Okpara and co were coming out with very disrespectful, supremacist and divisive statement like "God has specially ordained the Igbos to lead black Africa" in multicultural Nigeria hosting over 400 ethnic groups!!!!!

What has changed about that megalomaniac zeal Igbos showed in rhe past given the antics of Igbo today?

Nigga, just stop talking. You clearly dont get the vibes you're throwing out to those who know what being a man is about. I.e standing up always for what/who is right regardless of whose Ox is gored.

See people like you are easy to discredit because at the core of your essence is dishonesty, deceiti and duplicity you think helps hides factual reality that stands in the way of your effort to promote your false and divisive message of Igbo supremacy.

You want a Yoruba who is not proud of his name and origin, find another to use rather than Anthony Joshua.

Forumers should watch the video below of Joshua's MBE acceptance speech to the Queen.

Tell me if that is a man hiding his Yoruba name and Yoruba/Nigerian heritage or ashamed of them.

After this I challenge any forumer to show where any Igbo, other than calling Nigeria "Zoo" in the diaspora, has spoken so glowingly and lovingly of their Nigerian heritage as Joshua does below.

All they know to do is demean and demonize Nigeria like the Igbo lady, likely a first in history, who contested in a beauty contest and denigrated Nigeria by appearing with our flag 'soaked' in blood.

Yes I get it that the back and forth can be offensive to non-Yorubas and non-Igbos but they should call out those who instigate the exchange virtually every single time, i.e Igbos, whereas Yorubas usually jump in to defend their ethnic group being rubbished by a people who love attacking and denigrating us over their own insecurities and failings they blame Yorubas for.

Obi failed to become President and it is all out war against Yorubas, their interests, leaders and priment folks.

I told you clearly, and forumers can check, I only entered this thread out of anger that an Igbo neanderthal claimed disrespectfully that Igbo man is "feeding" this woman and her family when she deserves nothing but respect for getting where she has in life.

Yet Igbos want their own women respected and exalted whereas they cannot accord others same courtesy.

That matters zero to you whereas, if truly objective, you should lay blame where such belongs rather than attempt to play to the Gallery.

Bro, this back and forth gets us nowhere in so far as you'll never see what I am pointing out that is so clear.

Probably because your Igbo and biased while pretending to be objective by bashing both ethnic group whem it is crystal clear it is one alone that deserves condemnation here. Just stay out of my way bro. Simple.

Do your fake peacemaker and ' uniting force' thingy with others here simple enough not to note you're working from an angle of prejudice and bias rather than genuine objectivity.

In my experience on this forum - which is fifteen years strong - it swings both ways. And believe you me, its beyond nauseating. Most times on a topic that should not even arouse any tribal brick-bats, both sides throw such in from nowhere. And its not fair for you to claim "Yorubas only react." That can never be a true statement coming from either side of the battle. Do you know why? Because its not as though each side has a singular mind. Thus there are different kinds of people on each side. There are horrid small minded folk on both sides who are worse than the racist Ku Klux Klan, just as surely as there are mature, detribalized, big and open minds on both sides. So there is no way you can claim either side to be the antagonist and the other side simply to be reacting. Both are complicit.

And frankly, each time I see it, I mostly presume the combatants to be juvenile in real life, because of the sheer childishness of it. This is not to say old folk dont act the same.

That matters zero to you whereas, if truly objective, you should lay blame where such belongs rather than attempt to play to the Gallery.

I dont play to any gallery. This is my first interaction with you, so you cannot possibly know my antecedents. Suffice to say that those familiar with me know very well I do not play to any gallery. If anything I hold very unpopular opinions and express them bluntly.

But the truth is simply that this thing you guys do is sickening.

Its so terrible that each side automatically makes presumptions about where one comes from if one criticizes the government or praises the government for example. This is ridiculous.

Probably because your Igbo and biased while pretending to be objective by bashing both ethnic group whem it is crystal clear it is one alone that deserves condemnation here. Just stay out of many way bro. Simple.

You see the bold? That is what I just said above. Its sickening. And you are doing it too. I thought for some reason you wouldnt descend to that. I dont know why I thought that.

Do you fake peacemaker and ' uniting force' thingy with others here simple enough not to note you're working from an angle of prejudice and bias rather than genuine objectivity.

You're just a repellent bigot and hollow ethnic supremacist. Learn to quote posts properly. You made same error several times now indicating a slow and rigid mind not good at looking for solutions. Go and address those before coming here to propose You're from a clan of titans.

Furthermore stop name dropping TD Jakes, Forest Whitaker and other descendants of slaves who only recently discovered their Igbo ancestry thanks to advances in DNA technology. They are not proper Nigerians, in any sense of the word, as Anthony Joshua is.

As for your Gen.Amanda explaining her Igbo name, she only confirms my opinion rhat most Igbos identify with their ethnicity alone and never their nation of origin which they hate immensely. I did not bother to watch the video but you can confirm whether she mentions Nigeria or not. I am.guessing she did not. Afterall, she is Igbo.

Envy of Yorubas is your problem because Igbos are raised to hate and despise those they cannot cower nor dominate.which, in Nigeria, would be the Yorubas.

You're not fooling anyone with your supercilious pontifications you think hides the fact that Igbos are very insecure and suffer inferiority complex about their core essence alongside Yorubas whereas we do not give a toss about you annoying trolls.

Mrs Ekeita Unoma Akpabio is Igbo married to Senator Akpabio

Mrs Miriam Chidiebele Olusonya is an Igbowoman married to Yoruba man Miriam is not yoruba name

There are many Successful beautiful Igbo women married to Yorubas u shouldn't be surprise
Betty Akeredolu
Nnenna kayode lawal
Nonye Ayeni
Ifeanyi Adefarasin
Victoria Osondu Adefela
Chidi Gbadebo Vivur
Chiwe Seyi Tinunbu
Mabel Makun
Even FFK and Seyi law got themselves Igbo women ,,,no doubt Yoruba women are hardworking just as Igbowomen are hardworking someone up there claiming Nigeria 7 out 10 bank female CEO are yoruba because u doese beter than other Nigerians is what I disagree with considering Igbo women seem to be occupying more top prominent global positions example Ngozi Okonjo DG WTO around the world than any other African ethnic
