False. Police have barracks/quarters. I've seen it many times in Abeokuta, Ogun state and some other states.

By the way, their barracks are terrible. Even Command Secondary School students' hostels are more regimented than police barracks.

Isn't it better for all police to live in barracks instead of paying rents in residential areas.
1 they are mostly not allowed to serve in their state and living in barracks would better groom them and give them the best orientation?
