Obasanjo already removed subsidy on diesel and kerosene in his first term.. Don't forget that our excess crude account had $11.5bn in 2012 and was depleted to 2.5bn when Jonathan left office. Obasanjo left the foreign reserve around $51bn.. All these savings were as a result of debt forgiveness and sales of national assets. When Tinubu took over, Nigeria was in debt..We all heard that about 98% of our earnings would be used to service the loans previous administration collected...The best is to reduce government spendings and part is removal of subsidy.
