"The bright (and) morning star" and " the Day Star, son of Dawn" are referring to two diffrent persons, The Word/Jesus Christ is "The bright (and) morning star" rev. lucifer is "the Day Star, son of Dawn" The Word/Jesus Christ, morning/dawn star created all things (john 1:3) which includes lucifer, lucifer is son of the dawn/morning it's Jesus who is referred to as; "the bright and morning star" as for the literal bright and morning star, it is not actually a star but is the planet venus which appears like a star in the sky, but looking bigger and brighter. God, through the Word/Jesus Christ made lucifer brighter than all the angels, but he bacame puffed up in his glory and fell. his brighter than bright became darker than dark |

How you have fallen from heaven, O shining one, son of the dawn! How you have been cut down to the earth, You who vanquished nations. Isaiah 14:12 NWT (JW Bible) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Isaiah 14:12 KJV How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! Isaiah 14:12 NIV According to God's word Lucifer or Son of the dawn brought a curse to the earth even though he himself is one of the first set of angels (son of the dawn or son of light means one of the first sets of angels God created) Read Job 38:7 For misleading the nations he was cast down (banished) to the earth {Revelations 12:9} and it was Archangel Michael who led that conquest {Revelations 12:7} Micheal is the one standing for the salvation of all faithful people throughout the earth! Daniel 12:1 compare to John 3:16 So Lucifer is Satan the devil while Archangel Michael is Jesus Christ. |

MaxInDHouse: lost false jw mad max Jesus Christ is The Word of God, who God created all things through God created nothing by Himself, but He created all things through The Word: Joh 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. archangel michael is just that, a chief angel, whom God created through; The Word who became Jesus Christ |

Aemmyjah: Of course my brother but then the spirit behind world rulers is Satan the devil that's why an angel sent to Daniel said he was stopped by the prince of Persia {Daniel 10:13} you and i knew very well that a million humans can't stand in the way of an angel they will all be dead {2Kings 19:35} so the Babylonian king is the visible ruler everyone sees but the spirit behind him is Satan! |

Kobojunkie: The Hebrew word mistranslated to Lucifer in Isaiah 14 vs 12 instead means Dawn, and it a used as a reference to the King of Babylon — not a devil or even the devil—, the one to whom the dirge was sung about- Isaiah 14 vs 4. You are totally wrong. 2. The devil was never a light bringer nor a Morning star. Jesus Christ is the only Lightbringer — Phosphorus — recorded in Scripture. He is the light to shine in all who belong to Him and obey Him — those who love Him. In Revelation 22 vs 6, John records in his book of Revelations that Jesus Christ declared Himself the brighter morning star. |

Samunique:Let's be clear, please ! ▶ The Hebrew words of importance used in Isaiah 14 vs 12 is not Helel(howl you) either. There is an actual reference made to a son of dawn. Note the reference is of a son of Dawn, and not of Dawn itself. ▶ The reference in Job is to morning stars. Morning stars are not the Dawn that brings the light itself but are stars nonetheless. ▶ The reference in Peter's second letter is to the Light-bringer aka Lucifer, the one who brings the light - the Dawn
