My question is, did they sound check?

If yes, what did they score and if this problem was noticed during sound check, was it flagged by the band's tech support.

Before going on stage, did the band check if the issue has been fixed.

Managing expectations before event is key and should never be taken for granted.

We dey claim like we love Africa but Rema never visited his hometown except to see shallipopi.

Make we no just dey use Africa at our convenience to gain fame.
Na y I no rate any artist claiming freedom fighter. After fela no one had been able to lace his shoes.

Seriously after calm down does rema have another internationally or globally recognized songs.

All his tour na calm down Dem play for dem Oyibo.

Na Burna boy I dey wait for.
All his talk down on Nigerians will tell

You can not reign for forever.
Ask dbanj
Tuface
Lil kesh
Even Wizkid. Na fans dey hold am.
When you trash talk your country men it will haunt you.

So on whose side are u on rema that was supporting his continent in the world stage or Burna that is talking down because u just condemned both like u are some specialist in everything...rema respecting Nigeria and Africa in a world stage will beat going to his village anyday ..
But it takes some high intellect to understand this

Lol.

Sound get issues.
How e take relate to Africa

Sound issues happen and I am sure it can be resolved

Now the whole stuff he said has sent a racist implication which I am sure was never intended.

When did sound issues become a thing to turn to Africa or not Africa.

I hear you ... but is not racist... he said African ... most likely other Blacks... American Blacks performed before him with no sound problem... but the problem arose with him.... the African. What I like... he he said he was repping Africa ... not Nigeria. Carolina is a Southern State.. . Rednecks full in that part of the US and I wouldn't be one bit surprised if it was done on purpose. "Calm Down" was huge in the US ... can you imagine how painful it is to the Rednecks to see their kids and grand kids go crazy over Rema?.... an African?... straight out of Africa? ... they will do something about that. I respect Rema for walking off.... ass lickers and those with the colonized minds wouldn't.

Una don start.... No musician performs with sound glitches. Even here in Nigeria, I've seen several cases. Would Americans come here and start waiting on stage for their sound to be fixed?

Blame the sound engineers not Rema. [Dear my point is that he could have complained then work away if they failed to fix the issue...because sound system can go bad at anytime..it might just be a coincidence...this organiser spent money to hire his services..so I just think a business man will not deliberately ruin his own business...that my point ....

The sound glitches were just too much, it's very disturbing when there's continuous sound problems... He tried to continue but it started affecting his performance... He did the right thing by leaving.
Why was there a glitch suddenly when it was Rhema's turn to perform

Pride goes before a fall.... he could stopped and let the organisers fix the problem then come back to finish the contract he was obliged to honour...
Was there a Claus in the contract saying he would be performing with poor sound.
You didn't even get what's happening here.
Where other western artists experiencing the same issues?
The young man clearly said It there.
All these una slavery mentality ehhh....
Will an American artist take that kinda shit on an African stage?
How come other artists got good sound qualities but his case is different.
Emancipate your self from mental slavery bro

The rednecks wanted to mess up his concert and he wasn’t having it.

F pride, F fall, some falls are necessary not because of the sufferer is in the wrong, some pride can be necessary as one must understand their value and service not become slaves to externals simply.
