If I may get you right, you are specifically referring to a the new palace as if it's meant for a certain king; for record sake, the new palace in these pictures is a new official palace of Olubadan of Ibadan. It's the project of Oyo State govt, the palace is built to be a modern official abode for any Olubadan on the throne so long the palace is livable.

Pls, dnt misinform learned people here. If you don't knw it's better you do not say anything rather than misleading people that are ready to learn. Right from the onset, all olubadans have always used their private residence as palace. But some years back, prominent INDIGENES of ibadan land under the aegis of central council of ibadan indigenes (CCII) with the support of the state government decided to build a befitting palace as official home of olubadans of ibadan land. I stand to be corrected though!
