Exactly, I see some accounts gloating here and I just smile at their ignorance. Iran knows Isreael's capabilities. They knew the iron dome was largely going to thwart their actions but they just had to do it, as you said, to save face.

Truth is they have little or no more options after this. The most they can do is arm Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad or hijack ships at the Strait of Hormuz and disrupt international trade.
