That's not how it works. If you make such an argument in Court, the burden of proving that it was prop money is on you. How will you convince the Court? It is one thing to tell a story and another thing entirely for the judge to accept it.

This is not a crime to start jailing people for without drawing the line. Almost every adult in the land is guilty of this crime...A quick search might even reveal where the EFCC chairman himself or even the president are spraying the Naira...However what can be done should be to forgive everyone that had done it in the past and set a date to start penalising people that then commit the offence.
You don't forgive people like that.
They won't take it seriously, once they jail like 8people, the rest of us will learn, you no go even like make money fall from ur hand when u deh occasion.
The law has been there and most of us knows about it but we ignored because the govt wasn't doing anything about it

Oga, the question you should ask yourself if you are going to claim spraying dummy mint as a defense is whether the money was sprayed in an entertainment production like a movie or a music video. Also, even when it's for the purpose of entertainment production, wouldn't there be a permit required for the use of such?

Do you know that claiming to spray dummy mint in unauthorized circumstances is tantamount to possession of fake currency which carries an even heavier weight.

So long with your short-sighted defense strategy.
