Very cheap unethical move, using state instruments to fight selfish illegal battles...shows you the caliber of people they are. Cheap frauds.

Some people are bad luck, he should not associate with them (even if they brought him to power).

Action speaks louder than words!

He has immunity but he won't be in office forever. The same lesson Bello refused to learn on time.

Call the name of the person with your full chest.
Maybe he wants to jail ododo who has an immunity clause on his head grin. If not for bigotry, tipping Bello to do second term by buhari was uncalled for.

He should never have been allowed to be governor at all. The okun man should have been allowed to continue on the joint ticket with late audu.
There are several reasons Nigeria's development is still stagnant...religous bigotry (which both Christians and Muslims are guilty of),tribalism, et al.
There's no single development in Kogi. I visit fmc lokoja always

Without delay, arrest Ododo’s security personnel and jail them as a sign of your readiness to end the act of citizens obstructing your operations.

Ododo too should face the law at the end of his tenure.

EFCC must have squads from IG office when effecting high profile arrests. Bello's gate should have been blocked off, with no one allowed to go in (ongoing police operation). Our cheap politicians have no regard for rule of law. EFCC represent Nigeria and Nigerians, EFCC has constitutional powers, and is bigger than any governor or minister. Politicians don't own Nigeria, they are our servants. We should deal decisively with criminal politicians, and treat them how an owner will treat his thieving servant. Like they do in Asia. EFCC must show strength in upholding the law, no backing down.

So what about if the politician whom they are suppose to effect his arrest has close ties with the IG? Then we are back to square one, innit?

EFCC is not realistically owned by nigerians. The agency is always owned by politicians who are in position. Check how the appointment of the chairman has always been. The president picks anybody whom he likes and in return that person remains loyal.

Ribadu was one time the chairman of the commission. Same Ribadu as at that time declared Tinubu as one of the most corrupt politicians in the country. He even placed Tinubu on a top 5 list of corrupt politicians that must be prosecuted. Same Ribadu is now Tinubu's NSA. Dey play

Way out of this is to stop paddy paddy appointments. Have a credible government that embodies governance with zero tolerance to indiscipline. Build credible independent institutions that are insulated to external politics. Then we will be good

Those policemen assigned to protect the present Gov Ododo should be redeployed immediately. I trust the present IGP will do that. I pity this country if eventually State Police is eventually approved.

Why? Cubana only granted bail not discharged or acquitted.
Such crimes are very difficult to establish & prove if you have money to hire good Lawyers.
You'll see this play out in Cubana's case.
