Benin nor be SW

Meanwhile,Oba should as a matter of fact desist from meddling with naija politicians and uphold the reverence which the Benin kingdom commands among the traditional stools in naija.

Oba of Benin is,and remains the only true first class traditional ruler in naija, with a well deep rooted ancestral pedigree.

Not surprise at all, anything can bad and violent are xristics of children of hate. A.K.A Ipob pikin.... People with double standards believing it's normal for a southerner to be bestowed with chieftaincy title in the North but it's a taboo for northener to be bestowed with chieftaincy in the south. The are of the view that d Southerner bestowed with chieftaincy will protect the interest of his people down there but a northener should not be giving such privilege.

Benin Royal family should send letter to Kano and seek for the Emir's approval to build Palace for a Benin Traditional Ruler there. If approved then allow Seriki Hausa to be installed in Benign but if denied chase him away

100% fact!!!

I have be saying this all along and its applicable to everyone and every tribe in Nigeria "if you can not allow other tribe to breath in your kingdom then don't go to other people region or kingdom and be expecting freedom of everything" this is just a simple submission.

Don't do what you can't accept others to do to you.

If Hausa want their king in Benin they should allow Benin in Kano or Sokoto to install their king their too. Simple!!!

Tribal bigots no wonder they are among the most backwards state.
In all the northern states there are Sarkin Yoruba Kano, Sarkin Igbo Sokoto, Sarkin Benin Katsina Etc
It simply mean leader of that tribe in Benin not in anyways competing with the traditional leaders.

Be smart for once. They is a different between ceremonial and territorial tittle.

You lost your place when you started selling your land indiscriminately to these abokis.

Very soon Benin will start receiving the middle belt treatment from Fulanis.
They should continue.
This is just the beginning.

Btw the Oba and his crew cannot stop them from installing their king, their protest is dead on arrival.
They started too late
You are a fool.

Other ethnic nationalities have their traditional rulers in the North. What is a big deal about it. It is only that Hausa rulers must be answerable to the traditional rulers of their host communities and vice visa.

Unlike the northern ones, these ones won't eventually try to take over your land through violent conquest
So you are saying that it's permitted for southerners to be bestowed with chieftaincy in the North while northerners should not be given such a privileged?

This hausa get cunning sense.. imagine.

They want to install their king in Benin so that they would have freedom to do and undo, and if they trespass they wont listen to Oba Ewuare anymore but their king.

They will even value their king more than the traditional Benin king , and after 150years, they will be claiming and be miseducationing the naive generation that their papa(the hausas forefathers) and the Binis forefathers jointly brought the great kingdom into existence.

They would even want to be contesting for the governor if care is not taken

Yes na, what was those rulers who harboured them in those days thinking??

If I have a city or town or settlement I can never alow a stranger to even hold a position of chieftancy not to tall of having their own king.

I lord over every affairs in my domain and whoever not satisfied should move away..
Not because of me or my immediate children, it's plainly because of the incoming but far away generation who would not have the clear picture of how things panned out then and would not have much evidence and power to undo what I have done..

To be honest, they have a right to do such.

They are not saying they want to rule the whole Benin. Definitely not the igbo sides of Benin.

Let us be rational in our assessment and assumptions.

This is no cause for alarm.

The oba of Benin does not own all of Benin in this day and age, it is the governor that has powers over the combined Lg.

The hausa people have a right to do this ceremony, as it is still a Nigerian community. Every community does not need oba's approval to do a ceremony.
