Shut up. Things have never been easy in Nigeria? Who birthed you lots! If things are easy parents would have been able to send their kids to school in the 60s , 70s 80s and 90s. A lot of children went to learn trade because they can't afford education.

Be patient.

It already eleven months. People are dropping and dying due to starvation here in the north. Thieves now attack people at night to carry all the food stuff they fond both cook and uncooked ones. We had never in history of Nigeria had it this bad.

When you follow world economy’s, you would realize it’s not peculiar to Nigeria.

Let me go by your own judgement, has the US, UK or Canada ever had it so bad with present economic woes?

Not shifting blame or trying to compare nations. The world economy is in recess and all is being affected.

His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has the best of brains around him, who are working really hard to turn the situation of things around.

I am not in denial of the hardship, but we Nigerians also have to get to work and give all of our support to the administration. Having positive mindsets and also contributing to our very own niche in anyway we can.

Our patriotism is being tested, and that’s the only quality we need to defeat the status quo.

Hmmm ..... what was the exchange rate at the time?... around N150/$1. Average price .... 19 cents/cup. Today... at same price.... (0.19 × N1100) ×7. Do the math... factor in cost of living... d3cide if the current price is fair.

Oga you are so wrong. Our only problem is bad government.
Nigeria has more farmers than the US and the EU put together yet Holland alone exports Agricultural products worth over 124 billion Euros.
Our problem isn't that enough people aren't into Agriculture. Our only problem is our evil government.

Hmmm

This doesn't mean that GEJ was a better president.
Believe it or not, in 1998/99 4 cups of garri was 5 naira.
If you doubt me, ask elders around you.

Paint of garri in 2014 was 250 naira.
I personally bought bag of garri then for 6,000 naira.
Garri Ijebu then was 3,500 naira.
Don't really know where we got it wrong.
God help the poor.
Nigeria is gone, my neighbor sells garri, she used buy a bag of ijebu garri from factory at the price of 2k back in 2013.... As of today, that same bag is 60k.

Just imagine the level of inflection

I remember I use to buy a paint bucket at the cost of N150.... Today's is N3500 for ijebu garri.

Protest now, tribe and religion go be the order of the day.

So comfortable in messed situation. sad
