Nigeria also has a lot of off grid solutions. Besides, what this shows is the falsehood of Nigeria needing $10bn for 10 years to get power right. Zungeru dam costs just $1.3bn at 650MW. Ten of such will give us power that will meet all our needs and that's just $10.3bn and anyone who knows anything about power knows that generation is the most expensive aspect of power supply. So how do you justify the $100bn claim?

Yesterday, the National Grid got a massive boost as 624MW was added from Zungeru HPP.

This was after a successful reliability test on the units.
With this addition, NESI will be better and the national grid shall grow. Let's continue to prioritize #energyaccountability and #energymanagement as we work towards a more sustainable future.

You got to start by allowing the companies charge a cost reflective tarrifs, AND you got to enforce the law on corruption and illegal connections.

Where have you been? does the FG still own any of the GENCOs? have they not sold all?, what I xpect all Nigerians to campaign for is to scraap this blood suckling TCN and is putting irons in to the electrical works in Nigeria.
