How Do I Start A Career In It by ouchexy: 10:26am On Nov 21, 2011
I presently work in a production firm as a production manager, but I hope to be self-employed in the nearest future. I think one of the brightest area I consider for self-employment is IT. But I consider myself a neophyte in the IT world. Please how can I start a career in IT. what are the major areas of focus? what are the areas of competencies. I really want to go into IT but I don't know where to start. Do I start learning programmes? which ones? which certifications are important for me? what areas of IT can I specialize? etc etc. Please help. I call on Ajanlekoko and co to help me out. Thanks and God bless

@poster, why can't you tell us any expect of IT that you are really interested in (because IT is a very wide field), then, the house can now suggest any training programme(s) you can go for that will allow you pursue any certification exam(s) designed for such programme(s). I think doing that will help the house to give straightforward answer to your question, ok?
