So, I decided to take a walk today to see if I could find a bicycle to help me exercise, as it seems I've started gaining some weight. I came across this bicycle with a price tag of $6,999, which is over ₦10m with the current exchange rate. Just wondering, would anyone buy such a bicycle for over ₦10m if it were in Nigeria (photo attached)... would you?

Well if you are in the US, you earn in Dollars. I think 6k dollars shouldn't be too much for you since you earn in dollars.

You have no business converting to Naira. You don't earn in Naira over there

And that $6000 that many do not earn in a month, is supposed to be snack change?

Stop using Nigeria value to measure standard of living outside here. It's insane for someone out here to put such an amount on bicycle but a token for someone earning let's say Β£80k/year, how much does a brand new car cost over their?

What is the exchange rate today test makes it 10 million? Plus people can afford it in those countries. What is disturbing you is the comparison to Nigeria. It's killing you inside to spend 10 million naira on a bicycle.

It is just 7k dollars, it's the exchange rate that's making it look so expensive. An ordinary new electric bicycle starts from 700 euros upwards, that's about N1.3m already, so trust me, maybe by Nigeria standard, it's expensive, but elsewhere, that bicycle is not too expensive, there are far more expensive ones out there. Plus the brand is one of the top bicycle brands, they make super expensive ones.
If na is equal to a dollar you think say to raise 7k naira go be beans? Ask those in the 80s. You think op who is in the US don't don't find 7k dollar as big money. The latest iPhone is how much but it is rated as high end in the US why?

This was how I went to computer village to buy a new phone, i came across a store that sells rechargeable bicycle. I found out it was oraimo producing the bicycle, see me o, thinking highest it would be sold doe 350k. This was how i asked for price. And honestly i would have paid for it. Because it looked good. This was how i asked for price o! Receptionist told me 1million. The way i opened my eyes got her laughing. I just told her i would come back later. By now it should even be about 1.5m because of the dollar rate now. All these things are cheaper at Dubai. Nigeria is so doomed.

The first question that comes to mind is, are you a virgin when you met your non-virgin partner? If not dude just face front and mind where you are going silently or else hammer go land for your head. If you have disvirgins some girls before you get marry or even slept with some you added to the lawlessness in the country so mind your business. Even if not you still have no reason to be ranting because the bible and quran told you not to judge people.

You would probably want one of these if you are a professional bicycle racer. These bikes are usually designed with composite material for strength and light weight, also, there are probably going to be a lot of build-ins that optimize such physical attributes like center of mass, stability and a few others. Point? Most of these features would probably be impossible to obtain with a bicycle that was made out of iron.

Well, not for someone who makes monthly btw 2-5 grand after tax. And for your info, most people in the West pay on installments, they don't pay for things like this at once.

This is a specialised bicycle used by professional athletes, go and look for an ordinary version for daily exercise...it will be much cheaper.

Even in Game Stores at the Palms in Lekki you should able to get a bicycle for under 200K so stop causing unnecessary panic here undecided

Who told u he needs it for exercise...guy man wants to reduce cost of t-fare to and from work...
